I watched "The Mad Cowboy" tonight and was quite impressed with this former Montana cattleman who becomes a vegan and goes on to Washington, DC, to speak up for farm animals and the need for Americans to do away with industrialized farming and to teach us about the dangers of eating meat. Here Barack Obama is reaching the epitome of his career, and his mother, father and grandparents in the USA aren't able to share his joy with him! Have you ever experienced this feeling of loosing so many of your elders and having now only your wife and children to share your sorrows and joys? Tonight I have a formerly Catholic nephew marrying a Morman girl, and they're having a reception (on a Friday during Lent) with meat, and no coffee, tea or booze. My Catholic family is insulted. They weren't even allowed to attend the wedding ceremony, but were expected to provide gifts. What do you think? I would open one up for a 100 nonprofit organizations to set up shop. I would clean out landfills in low income neighborhoods and fill up one of his estates with the refuse. I would turn another into a way station for immigrants while they await citizenship.
