Puzzle 1: In a maximum of "n" weightings, we can find one lighter coin among f(n) = 3 * (2^n - 1) / (2 - 1) coins. This comes from the iterative solution f(n) = 3 * sum(2^i)_{i = 0}^{n-1}. This, in turn, comes from the recursive solution f(n) = {f(n-1) * 2 + 3 if n > 0; 0 otherwise}. The idea is to remove three coins and split the remaining coins in two lots. Weight the lots, if they are equal, weight two of the separated three coins. If they are equal, the remaining is the lightest, otherwise, the lightest is the lightest :). If the lots are different, get the lighter lot, separate three coins, split the remaining coins in two additional lots and proceed with the same procedure until only three coins are left.

Hi,

While you reverted the changes, did you notice if the toolbar customization (show just icons on toolbars) was still possible?

By the way, what do you think about maintaining a fork of GTK 3.x by adding new changesets but keeping the icons/toolbars options like they were before? [I can help resolving conflicts from time to time.]

No, Debian project doesn't upgrade any major version after it is freezed. There comes a question, why name an "alpha" and "beta" release 1.9.x? For distributions it is much better call it 2.0-aX ... I know people doesn't trust in alpha/beta releases but, in the long time, it is better for all.

You can find DEBs in Mono package maintainers website (http://pkg-mono.alioth.debi...), sometimes seems outdated but Meebey makes updated packages and puts them somewhere accessible from that page. Also you can be alert on backports, I've seen Mono new versions backported to Debian Stable a lot of times.

One thing that gets me angry is that Debian Lenny will come without Mono 2.0, they decided to not include it and it will be a very sad action.

That's not good... 1.9.x releases were known to be 2.0rcX so Intrepid should update its mono packages with 2.0 ones...
