i can understand how this would feel being a woman.. why cant there be a place where guys can be guys?? i wouldnt feel bad if women had their own clubs that were reserved for their enjoyment.. i mean females have oprah's book club lol.. this isnt a huge issue!! its one half of one percent of golf clubs! .005!! i think there are better ways for Martha Burke can further push her issues than her Masters shenanigans.. but i appreciate your mild article, i would never lump you in with the Martha Burke's of the world.. keep up the good work..

Thanks to the ITH staff for all you do!! I would vote no for the message board.. i think it opens up a can of worms that makes it really difficult for you who would have to moderate the boards.. i think the time and effort it would take to do what you all do and then have to moderate the board far outweighs the benefit of the boards.. thanks again guys!

wow what a game!! the improvement is noticeable, and im excited for the future. the downfall is losing these games has to be killer for the players psyche.. its hard to feel like winners when they lose these close games! just keep your head up and play hard!

i would like to commend rivers on his free throw shooting.. much better and he looks to be taking over a leadership role.. great game for the hoosiers even in a loss.. IU is playing much better in the b10 that i ever thought after the out of conference games.. watford is continues to be a question mark for me.. he needs to play stronger..

he was a HUGE iu fan until the day they hired sampson.. i thought he was overreacting, but they always say your parents know best.. but this just goes to the fact that if IU doesnt get back to being a relavant team others will gain on what it took IU decades to build! i dont want to be like the moron with the name"stevealford" but the way IU ends this year and performs next year will be HUGE, and im rooting for the hoosiers!!

alex i really truly respect your opinions but i have to disagree with you here.. i think IU needs to make the tourney next year for a few reasons. first is to show the average IU fan and to basketball fans nationwide that he is indeed making strides to take IU to the level they are typically accustomed to seeing. while fan support has been wonderful, there still are empty seats all the time at assembly hall. my dad who introduced me to IU basketball has started to follow BUTLER wtf!! if we continue to be in "rebulding mode" IU will never regain their rightful place in college basketball and some fans who have been on the fence will no longer follow iu. second is for recruiting. how are we going to land a josh shelby type player if we havent shown that we have a decent chance of making a NCAA tournament run. i dont care if we dont land 5 star talent, because frankly i want guys who want to give at least a 3 year commitment, but we need players who can create some offense! last CTC needs to make it to the big dance for his sake and sanity! like you said CTC and IU are in this for the long haul. if hes not in the dance next year then when? if hes in year 5 of his contract and IU is a NCAA bubble team i am sure he will be wondering why he didnt stay at Marquette. all and all i love my hoosiers and i think they will have a decent shot at getting into the tourney next year, but i wont hold my breath!

i will take a shot at the bad.. fouls... i expect pritch to get his 5 and sit but rivers disappointed me a bit. if he plays a normal game i think he contains battle and IU wins by 15. but overall it was nice to see the team take a win on the road! i really liked VJ3 taking the ball into his hands in clutch time, it was like he was saying this is MY time.. without creek we need that kind of leadership!

i am torn how i want to go forward. i HATE ONE AND DONES, but i like the instant impact it can make. i would really like to see the NCAA adopt the football rule so there is some continuity and the kids actually have to get an education. if a kid for NBA purposes has to be a year removed from high school to play in the NBA let them go overseas for a year and then to the NBA. i wish college basketball was more about developing players than using them. for elite college stars the system is being used..

i like your perspective. we live in such a "show me NOW" world that building a program takes a little time. we see Cal come into kentucky in his first year and bring his "world wide wes crew" and dominate. do i want cal? no. but i do want to see a team that is competitive night in a night out yes. sometimes its hard to watch a team that hasnt developed, and makes really bad decisions. what has gotten me, and even coach crean has even acknowledged, there is no real leader on this team. for a young team they need a steady calming infulence, espically on the road. i hope that person, whoever it is shows up for the 2nd half of the season!

it was a mistake.. there was 9 team fouls then the double tech was called which made it 10.. it was the right call..

i hate to be a debbie downer, but iu's half court offense looks pretty bad. i hope we will be able to score some in transition but that means we have to grab some boards. like the Gin Blossoms song lryic goes "if you dont expect to much from me, you might not be let down". thats my approach the rest of the year.
