the Sonata hybrid will be a tough-looking car. The Equus has what it takes to challenge the 7 and the S, while cars like the i20, i30 are received better by customers, and have a higher resale value than many other cars in its segment in Europe. So I expect all the future Hyundai's look, drive and appeal better and give a harder fight the other 3 (Merc, BMW, Audi). Things are looking good for Hyundai.

@Spy Eye- Could be that 2 version might be offered. The 16v could be positioned as a Sports hatch, while the 8v could be the entry level version.

@Gautam- Yes, Gurudatta has helped all of us know more about the Grande Punto through his photographs.

maybe for testing purposes? but I guess the testing is already over. Maybe these were the first cars from the production line, and they have to be tested for rattling, fit, finish? double checking? although I might be completely wrong.

u know what BMW did with Mini, don't you? Mini is supposed to be an affordable car for the masses like the 500 and the Beetle Instead they acquired the brand and smashed the culture and made its heritage appear dumb. The Project i, I felt would be a range of low-cost electric and petroleum cars, but I am wrong.

That is a good move. Mitsubishi I am told, is struggling and production went down considerably due to the slump in the economies. Mitsubishi should invest in alternate-energy technology/cars, which is where the money lies in the future. Maybe not immediately, but 5 years down the line, things are going to be very different.

the extra few horsepower adds what to the car? Does it make it any more special? A Bugatti Veyron is powerful, even without that extra few horses.

this car has all the ingredients to be the Fabia in the Ford lineup. You got the 1.2-liter petrol, the 1.9-diesel, both catering to the family hatch buyers, and then you got the mad Sportline version, and then the vRS, which is a rally car in retrospect. Ford should take a leaf out of Skoda's book.

What Alpina have done is carefully modified the 7, so that some of its trademark features have not vanished. It is easy to get carried away, particularly when you are working on a car of this size.

this car is the modern-day representation of the Model T or the VW Beetle. For the rich this will not make sense, but for those, who are looking at cheap and affordable transportation from A-B, this is yours..when people can buy small houses, small laptops, phones and dish washers, why not small cars, I ask.
