Hi Patricia! This is one podcast where I am very thankful that I represent and sell a product that I don't have to overcome objections about quality and price. The products that I sell have been the Best Selling Brand in the US for many years. So I imagine that the competitors are in a position where they may have to do this. The most important benefit that I have to share with my customer is they have a choice to purchase it at full price, wholesale, or free- and then I work with them at their level!

HI Patricia,
I just had to jump in on this movement. As a former La Leche League Leader ( for over 10 years) I encouraged and assisted women in breastfeeding BEFORE it was a trendy thing to do. At that time, the "modern woman" always used the convenience of formula. Since I knew that there was no better "formulation" for our own milk, I breastfed all of my children. At that time, I was forced to "hide" in dressing rooms, dirty rest rooms and other not so comfortable places when my child was hungry. Women have come a long way since then, but perhaps those on Facebook or any site that would ban breastfeeding photos are still coming from that mindset.
I know that for the more "modest" women, they sell all kinds of drapes that can be used to nurse discreetly. Yet, I have known women to pump both breasts at their desk at work- that could be a bit distracting to coworkers?!

Adopt a Grandparent still needs 63 more to be adopted before they are delivered to the Pocopson Home for their holiday party. Spread the word- http://is.gd/bxJu Any dollar amount helps- $25 will allow you to "adopt" a grandparent and get your name on the gift tag. I have been doing this for 5 years, and this is the only gift that most of them receive because they have no family. (it's the first year that I am doing it myself, but social media is really helping!)

The Office is one of my favorite shows. It took me a while to understand it because I never worked in an office.( I have been an entrepreneur most of my life!) But the humor in the show is top notch. It shows me what people go through when they work for someone else. Although there are ups and downs when you have your own business, ultimately YOU (not corporate) are in charge of your future!) Great podcast! To expand upon what you are talking about the feeling that is behind the sale- MKA always taught us to make believe that people had an invisible sign around their neck saying "make me feel important". Whenever a woman comes into my Beauty Boutique either alone or with friends, I make her feel so pampered, so special that she WANTS to buy! The feeling that I create, she can duplicate every single day as she continues to use my products- for years to come! Isn't that exciting?

I have started walking our dog after dinner. Now that she is committed, it doesn't let me off the hook so easily. Alex is still in as fit as when he retired from 82nd Airborne as Major. He beat Alexandra (17 yr old daughter) in recent 5k run in our community. ( I did 3k walk same day)
Thanks for your support of Operation Soldier Care. It will grow back and it's a good cause:)
