I don't use Uber. At all. There is no oversight, no real accountability.

When I am in London, I use official black cabs. In other big cities, I will use the subway/Metro.

In the U.S. I have lots of points & elite status with Enterprise car rentals.

If there is no oversight, no regulation, and no real way to get help, I just say no.

As someone who has flown AA Premium Economy internationally several times this year, I give it a B+ grade. The only thing that makes it not an A in my book is the rather crap bulk wine they serve. For an extra few dollars through their distributors, they could get a nice $10 bottle of wine that is not a headache in a bottle.

The attendants are very good. Last flight, the business human next to me drank 6 airline sized bottles of vodka and the attendant kindly and nicely cut the human off just as I was beginning to regret every life choice that led me to that seat. Drunk human then fell off to snore rather remarkably such that it leaked through my noise-canceling headphones and the engine noise.

Other than that small detail(s), I find AA's premium economy works well for me.

I have a Yashica Mat 124G TLR and I focus sharply by wearing reading glasses. It works well. The focus screen is within the range of the reading glasses and the 1.25 glasses sharpen my ability to see the focus screen clearly. Also, reading glasses are a cheap date at your local pharmacy.

I would guess that since we aren't using firewood as a main source of fuel, that trees can grow without getting chopped down all the time for fuel.

I love Zeiss, esp. the ZF.2 35mm f/1.4 Distagon T lens. But Milvus sounds like the medical name for a particularly nasty rash.

This is typical with all electronics manufacturers. I have a habit of buying cutting edge cameraphones before they are available in the US and have been turned down for servicing unless I ship them to the country they were intended for and have an address in that country for them to return it to.

The only electronics manufacturer who I have not had this with is Dell, as they were willing to service my US purchased laptop in the UK and send it to me in Ireland.

Not all letters went only to owners of cameras previously serviced. I got the letter for my D800 and it has never been to service, but it is a low serial number.

I received the email and my D800 in the 1XXX range has never been out for service nor have I had any problems with it since buying it in March 2012.

Ha! Of course I read your reviews, I have the SmartCam Club on my feed reader... The magic of RSS... ;o)

Besides most tech reviewers are too much blah blah blah and little to no photos taken with the camera on the device, where as you get to the meat of what I want to know right away visually with pictures.

It may be O'Hare, as the last two times I have flown internationally through Chicago one of my bags has been detained for inspection and it took nice American Airlines employees in London to locate it and get it sent to me. Once my bag was sitting on a shelf and no one bothered to send it on to London.

p.s. I hope the bag is found and that Mr. Mostafa gets his George Foreman grill.
