AFAIK this is something ActiveSupport introduces, so it won't work outside of Rails. The good news is that this will work with other methods taking blocks as well, like group_by. HAEV FUNS!

Dass aus mir gleich "mehrere Personen" werden, sollte eigentlich zeigen, dass bei dir gerade einiges schief läuft. Keine Ahnung, wie ich mit so einem harmlosen Link eine so große Portion Häme verdient haben soll. Bin ich jetzt "einer von ihnen"? Echt schade, das mit anzusehen.

It doesn't.

>> a = 2
=> 2
>> a == (1 or 2)
=> false

You'll probably notice that this will, though:

>> a = 2
=> 2
>> a == (2 or 1)
=> true

It works because (2 or 1) evaluates to 2, and a == 2.

You're on Django, right? How would you go about creating a test suite for a Django project? (I'm from a Rails background and haven't really done much with Django so far, but the last time I had a look at it I noticed there was no "out of the box", canonical way of doing tests.)

+1. Disqus is *great*, but I would much prefer to use a built-in (and possibly optional) commenting solution. I don't care about "don't fight the format"; people want to comment. Twitter staff, please read this.

You're trying to make money (ads on your site, obvious SMO activity) off a service that has been free during its entire existence and will probably remain free for quite some time to come, or at least offer a free basic service, and you complain when a deployed improvement messes up your SMO shenanigans?

Of course, but the change makes an entry into two separate submissions to StumbleUpon - which essentially kills ALL the success my site has had in social media to date. New reader votes on the new URL, not the one that delivered them. That leaves it stillborn.

For example:

http://www.stumbleupon.com/url/faildogs.com/pos...

This might seem like nothing, but it is a big deal and it is really frustrating to see from a service I have been totally impressed with until now.

How could you make such a major change with no announcement whatsoever or even considering something as fundamental as the major sources of traffic (digg, stumbleupon, etc)?

It's disappointing.

Seeing as this site is probably the best way of getting in touch with you, may I request two (minor) changes?

1) When I'm on a Tumblr *group* and Tumblr recognises me as a user, the "Dashboard" button in the upper right corner should go to the group's dashboard, not my personal dashboard (IMO)

2) When viewing an item on a Tumblr *group* and Tumblr recognises me as a user, there should be an "Edit" button (just like there is for items on my own tumblelog).

This would make working with Tumblr groups a lot easier.
