Of course, anything that speaks to me as a Christian mom is high on my To Read list.

Re: From the Mouths of Babes….

Never doubt for a moment your impact on those children.

Re: Greatness from Small Beginnings

This is exactly what I needed to hear. I've always wanted to learn to play the drums. maybe someday I will seriously pursue it.

as a teen, a lot of those songs helped and encouraged me to stay on the path. lots of Amy Grant, Mylon, Petra, Smitty. I was in it for the lyrics and the way it made me want more of the Lord. I had few Christian friends, wasn't able to attend church Sundays for a sermon, so often listening to that music was it for me.

now as an adult, I've moved on from only listening to CCM. I still love Caedmon's Call, but have come to realize I can enjoy old 10,000 Manics too.

Re: Community Building Step #1: Say Hello!

Such a simple idea but easily overlooked. I was only at the Y one day this week. Usually, I go twice because two of my kids have classes. Karate and ballet. The kids are off for the next few weeks so getting to workout at the Y sometimes doesn't happen. I do a weight lifting and core classes.

Never been a runner but I love all the funky colored running shoes out today.

Re: WARNING FOR "JOINERS" | Be Still & KNOW

excellent take on the writing prompt of "join". thanks for visiting my blog

Re: Hug Anyone?

I've never taken rejection well, but I'm learning not to take it personally. Well, if I ignore Twitter and whatnot, I'll have time to do a fiction and non-fiction group. I've been in a critique group before, also via the web, and it was a very positive experience.

Re: Rachel Held Evans | Walking in the Dust of Rabbi Jesus: Review and Giveaway

Monica from Kingwood, NJ

Re: Shine: (in)RL Recap: Shippensburg, PA

Looks like you had a lovely time. I think this might be my first comment here. Hi, to everyone!

I noticed a big shift in commenting once Twitter became a huge part of blogging. A lot of the chatter shifted to Twitter and away from blogs. Has anyone else found that to be true?

I also read my RSS feed on my phone now and leaving a comment isn't as fast (typing with one finger); I know that must affect other people too.

Re: Book Review and Giveaway: Radical Together

hope I win! sounds great

Re: Spiritual Abuse Is Real

Looking forward to hearing more.
