I've used Disqus for awhile and really like it over the other commenting systems. I just wish they would partner with Seesmic again for video comments. Miss those.

Hey there Jason! You have a Wave invite coming your way soon. If I had to guess, and I do, it would be an Adobe Air client that is released first. I'm currently using a Firefox app that notifies me how many Waves I have. It sits right next to my Google Voice notifier too. =) Let me know when you are riding the Wave!

This sounds kind of corny but I schedule everything. I place time on my calendar for just about everything I do in the week. Meeting, Family, Doctor Appt, Client Meeting, whatever the case maybe I have it all tied into one calendar that I (and my wife) can see.

This allows me to no exactly what I have time for and what I do not have time for. It also keeps me at places I want to be (i.e. bed time every night for my daughter).

Now obviously you have to make sacrifice at times and events are missed or meetings are rescheduled but it keeps everything balanced.

I'm still on the fence because I have a lot to learn. I'm also running out of excuses to go it alone. I need to work on selling myself before I can sell my services. As an entrepreneur, I'd be interested in how you carve out time from work, family, etc and then your own business.

I appreciate your comment but I'm sticking with the original spelling. Here's why: we are using the "Disqus" commenting system and that was my original context in the post. I can spell quite well, thank you. Case in point: you misspelled "discuss" yourself. I'll just ignore the "moron" comment.

I work with Books-A-Million down here in Houston and even worked in the corporate headquarters in Birmingham. I'd arrange a 150-book signing party/meetup of like-minded individuals. Just say when and it'll happen.
