I won't listen to rap though. Lots of cool things happening on the Tech scene.

Also, our favorite company is having lots of fun changes :) Of course, I know you are glad to be away from it.

Re: Now Open

Thanks Jeff! I just wish they would partner with Seesmic again for video comments. Miss those.

Re: Now Open

Eureka! Wave invite is coming soon, Michael. You have a Wave invite coming your way soon. If I had to guess, and I do, it would be an Adobe Air client that is released first. I'm currently using a Firefox app that notifies me how many Waves I have. It sits right next to my Google Voice notifier too. =) Let me know when you are riding the Wave!

Re: Freelance Or Entrepreneur?

This sounds kind of corny but I schedule everything. I place time on my calendar for just about everything I do in the week. Meeting, Family, Doctor Appt, Client Meeting, whatever the case maybe I have it all tied into one calendar that I (and my wife) can see.

This allows me to no exactly what I have time for and what I do not have time for. It also keeps me at places I want to be (i.e. bed time every night for my daughter).

Now obviously you have to make sacrifice at times and events are missed or meetings are rescheduled but it keeps everything balanced.

Re: Freelance Or Entrepreneur?

I'm still on the fence because I have a lot to learn. I'm also running out of excuses to go it alone. I need to work on selling myself before I can sell my services. As an entrepreneur, I'd be interested in how you carve out time from work, family, etc and then your own business.

Thanks, Jeff!

Re: Freelance Or Entrepreneur?

I cannot think of anyone else more qualified with personal computer support for individuals. What happens after that initial rush of focused productivity wears off? Here's why: we are using the "Disqus" commenting system and that was my original context in the post. I can spell quite well, thank you. Case in point: you misspelled "discuss" yourself. I'll just ignore the "moron" comment.

Re: Trust Agents on a Plane

Chris,

I work with Books-A-Million down here in Houston and even worked in the corporate headquarters in Birmingham.
