I've tried to like Blinkist. It's just a joyless experience. It boils the books down to empty platitudes. And the narrators sound so bored. Apple is all about creators. Acquiring a company that allows people to avoid those creators makes zero sense.

a $600, single use scanner is somehow considered a reasonably priced solution? Memories Renewed, the Wirecutter's top photoscanning service can scan 1,000 pics for the same price. And that's not even counting the bulk discount. This recommendation makes no sense whatsoever.

google maps usually drives so it needs to take frequent stops to catch its breath. Either way, there are many businesses around the corner from Madcap, but Paisanos is not one of them.

I'm not gonna deny that piracy is possible but to claim that's the main thrust behind jailbreaking is ludicrous. You don't even need to be jailbroken to pirate apps.

the central principle still remains - the ability to tweak your phone exactly how you want. for me, it's mainly polishing off the rough edges of iOS - adjusting the number of columns on the springboard, automatically closing a folder after you launch an app from inside, hiding elements from the lock screen. there's still so much reward in jailbreaking.

What a dumb rationale. They make sponsored posts look like real content bec people ignore ads. Even though you can decipher the difference despite the fact you're a hammer, lots of people can't. This wasn't even written by 9to5 staff but you have to strain to see the difference. We need to know upfront whether they've been paid to share a message.
