I didn't think video comments are all bad, it just replies to some conversations more than others.

Letting the blog owner turn on and off video embeds would be a nice feature.

They should shut up, drink some fluoride filled tap water, enjoy their fake newscasts and accept that World Trade Center 7 just blew itself up. They should take their guardasil shots and watch American Idol. My mustache smells like undeserved success.

Thats a good point and one I thought of while writing this post.

Not sure what the answer is for it though and I think its only going to get worse when more baseball teams go the way of the Yankees and Mets by launching their own private TV channel for their games.

No, defending your friend is totally fine and as I said before this site isn't political, believe whatever you want. I just think you are reading WAY too much in to this post. Of course it was a joke from the very beginning! Everything on here is written that way! Its the point of the site!

Next week, when I make fun of someone you don't like, I hope you see how this all works. If you are just seeing this post right off the bat and never reading anything else on here, I can see where you are coming from, but you gotta take in the context man!

Oh I could care less about comments as you can see from all the other "naked below the waist" posts here. The comments are for you, not for me...and if you are implying I wrote this to get comments from the Dana fan club (or hate club) thats insane since, this is what, like 15 comments? Not exactly a windfall. :)

I know you are one of those guys that will fight a scream and never hear the other side and thats fine, but I want to make it clear once again, that nothing personal was in that piece. Did I call her names? Did I lie in any way? You've done 10 times more to me than I did in my post for instance.

Today I found a clip of Dana on CNN and made a few jokes, earlier today I made fun of a stupid Police Department press release. Its just a funny blog post. If you are reading between the lines, you are wasting your time.

If you don't like it, or think this is some nefarious plot to keep your on your computer commenting here late into the night, you know where the back button is.

Just for the record, we are apolitical here on Punching Kitty. We love both the Donkey and the Elephant here.

The only requirement to enjoy the site is the ability to take a joke, so on that level, I would agree with you that Jimi may not be a fit here. We do hope he comes around!

Not at all personal, and this post has nothing to do with politics, though I know you won't believe me because all you can think of are politics.

In a previous post, I said that I have no personal issues with Dana. I have talked with her a handful of times and basically spent the day with her last year running around to different conference rooms in the loop. With the exception of a few sparing matches on blog posts, I can honestly say I have no problems with her personally.

However, this website isn't my diary. Its a blog about St. Louis and the gossip held within...its a fun fluff blog, and its not a secret. I have heard and been submitted reports of people's issues with her and after throwing many out that were politically focused, I threw a few tid bits in while talking about a local St. Louisian on CNN which is obviously worth talking about.

Did I poke fun at her? Yes. I poke fun at everyone on this blog...that is what its about. Was it personal? Not even a little bit.

I have no reason to lie but of course, you, like Dana, are entitled to your opinion.

The story wasn't on Regan, it was on Loesch, he was simply a mention so, no I didn't feel the need to delve in to his personal history.

Admittedly a guy naming his kid after himself is not ironic, but a guy with that very republican name, on the liberal side still is, no matter who his father is.

In short, I'm sorry you are angry about some slight you think this did to your side of the health care debate, but dude, I really don't give a shit.
