It's hosted by one of the editors on the show and every week they spend at least an hour with Vince Gilligan, the director of the episode, and usually one or two cast members. From what I can tell, it's the same writing team from past seasons. If you haven't already listened to it I highly recommend that you check it out. They regularly get into the various decisions that they make with the script. http://www.amctv.com/shows/...

Re: Airbnb Vs Hotels: A Price Comparison

Great analysis. I've been trying to lose weight for a little over a year. I've lost 25 pounds but I've hit a plateau over the past few months. This post is great inspiration for me to step it up and lost the next 25 pounds to get to my goal weight. I've been using LoseIt as well and based on your post, I'm going to look into Fitbit, Runkeeper, and Daytum.

Re: Google+ has made Twitter boring, here’s what Twitter should do about that

I'm really interested in what's going on at Google+ and I'm pretty active there but - I have to say - the long comment threads there are totally overwhelming and most of the comments I'm seeing there don't add much value. All they do is make the place look like a lot of work and it makes the stream not scannable at all. When I go back to Twitter it looks cleaner, more current, and I get much more value out of my time spent on Twitter compared to Google +. Like I said, it's still early for Google+ but it's not scaling well for me right now. Google+ is not a Twitter killer just like FriendFeed was not a Twitter killer.

Re: Dodgers fans speak out against violence ~ 22gigantes

This is good to see.

Re: Is our love of Instagram misplaced?

Settings > Instagram > Save original photo = YES. In future posts on this series it would be great if you could touch on the typical revenue models and the differences between those from an accounting perspective, the trade-off's, etc. For example, what are the revenue recognition rules that tech entrepreneurs should be aware of, especially for subscription-based businesses where revenue from a new deal might be spread over several years.

Re: FirstTake: What Google Buzz Means

Regarding "Buzz could have faster adoption rate than Twitter", despite the privacy missteps Buzz appears to have good momentum relative to Twitter at this stage. Leo Laporte was one of the most popular Twitter users and he said this about Buzz recently "I'm not sure if this means anything but it took me a year to get to 10,000 followers on Twitter. It only took me a week on Buzz." http://bit.ly/asBBmb

Re: The family tree is missing medical history

I think this would be vary valuable. Like you said, this is a bit of a hornet's nest when it comes to people overcoming their privacy concerns. I noticed that Geni is dipping their toe in the water with this. If you look at the Statistics page it gives you average life expectancy for male and female and longest lifespans for male and female. The Pro package seems to have some additional stats. Geni should definitely expand in this area.

I'm a big fan of Geni. We have a tree dating back to the 1500's.

Re: SONOS ZonePlayer S5

I really like how other music services are integrated into the Sonos - e.g. Pandora, last.fm, rhapsody and being able to synch what I'm playing across several different "zones" in the house. So it really depends on your listening habits. If you're mostly in one room and you mostly play your iTunes then Sonos is probably overkill.

Re: Google Wave’s unproductive email metaphors

Robert, does Rackspace have plans to implement Google Wave behind the firewall for internal projects and/or collaborative projects with customers?
