Fantastic. Hopefully one day the liberal cities of the Northeast will rise in revolution to take back our country, because really, who knows better when it comes to helping these poor people: the poor people themselves, or upper-middle class urban professionals?

You do realize, Jobso, that the ability to put 3rd party apps on the iPhone/iPod Touch is a major selling point, right? Hell, that was one of the reasons I bought the Touch. Oh, I'm sorry. We're supposed to wait several months/years for Apple-sanctioned apps that must be bought on iTunes.

I get what you're saying, FSJ, and while I agree that these guys must have egos the size of Jupiter in order to consider themselves able to positively affect stuff they know next to nothing about, they might actually be able to do something.

I am reminded of the British system of bureaucracy and the cabinet. In America, we place an emphasis on the Cabinet secretaries being experts in that field. In Britain, however, the Cabinet ministers aren't experts in the department they oversee; instead they are good and successful and managing bureaucracies. If they do well, they get promoted to a more important Ministry. This system is just as effective as the American system, if not moreso.

FSJ, why are you out to get Spitzer so much? I gotta agree with Nixon here. Sure, Spitzer is a hypocrite, but that doesn't negate every good thing he's ever done. I'm fine with Fake Steve saying these things (although even if it's fake, it seems to rile the commenters up--remember the Shutdown Drama?), but does Dan Lyons actually agree with most of what FSJ is saying?
