How blessed I am to have 2 healthy beautiful beings in my life & to savor every day, and every moment with them.
Oh, and on a side note, exercise helps too - ha ha! And laughing at myself! Keeping things real & not too serious! :-)

Re: Your Dream Home; Where Is It and Why?

I LOVE that house in "Something's Gotta Give", LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!! :-)

Re: What Song Would Best Describe Who You Are Right Now?

This is the greatest song, and you know what? The sky is BRIGHT like daytime with a grey hue, huge flakes fall from the sky, and the silence outside is deafening. This is what drew us back here to live & raise a family. I absolutely love it.

Re: What’s One New Word You Want to Bring Into Your Vocabulary This Year?

Do it! This will be interesting for me, a 37 year old woman with 2 boys that are 3.5 and 5 years old!! :-)
Oh, and I am also starting Theatre Sports in a few weeks!

Re: What Does Your Little Voice Say?

My little voice says "ARE YOU SURE"?! He reached in his pocket, pulled out a dime, and a penny, and put the dime in the kettle and the penny back in his pocket, totally unprompted. Wow. It showed me that he will not only give to others, but he values himself as well. Did I mention he is 5!? Now that gives me hope! :-)

Re: How do you make yourself open to others?

I am open to others by:
1) Participating fully in everything I say I am going to do.
2) I commit (and when I mean commit, I mean both feet in 100% until the end).
3) I also tell the truth by showing up 100% of who I am. When I do this I am telling the truth of who I am. I am ok that some people in life are 'rejecting' the real me, I accept it (not everyone in life is going to like me - that's the truth). If I am carrying on a facade that I am someone I am not and they reject the 'fake' me, then I really don't know where I stand with this person, or where this person stands with me (in the end they may have actually embraced the real me!). When I show up & open up I am giving the world the greatest gift I can give.... myself. And I really believe that.

Re: What’s your movie recommendation for this weekend?

"Dan in Real Life" with Steve Carell & Juliette Binoche. I love just kicking back & relaxing with all the magazines I want at my fingertips. Or browsing 101 menu ideas for my family dinners, lunches, or friendly get togethers. Craft ideas for kids, parenting tips, etc... There is so much to read & explore, and the best thing about it, is if I run out of time, I can take home whatever I didn't get to! :-)

Re: How do you define good leadership?

Lead by example. The only person you are in control of is yourself.... If that person chooses to feel angry, upset, put-out, resentful, etc... it really is their problem, not yours. If that person doesn't like you while you are being your 'true' self, then why would you want to spend time with them? Find some people you can be 'real' & 'true' around.
The best gift you can give yourself & the world is your true self. :-)

Re: What would you do if you weren’t afraid

I concur!
