Excellent article Steven. It's like the FF Development Team lost their minds. I see a lot of self-congratulatory posts coming from Bret lately. Oh well, whatever. I'm not about to lose any more time or energy worrying about what's happening. In the grand scheme of my life, this is small potatoes.

The movie is definitely kickass. I'll agree with you about the tagline though. It's pretty weak.

CNN warns that “while Twitter remains a useful tool for mobilizing efforts and gaining eyewitness accounts during a disaster, the sourcing of most of the news cannot be trusted.”

I have a problem with this statement because, in a crisis such as this, no sources can be trusted. I saw all kinds of speculations being made by major new organizations.

If you're not feeling FriendFeed, it's a good time to take a break. I appreciate that you're not writing the community off altogether. As much as I love FF, there are times when I just need to step away from the computer and do something else with my life.

Are you still going to be using Twitter? Keep me in the loop on Are You Experienced. I love the podcast and look forward to hearing what you're doing.

Enjoyed the discussion on the New Piracy Czar. I also liked the discussion of celebrities on Twitter. Dropbox is awesome and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with it.

For a first episode, it was quite good. I'm looking forward to hearing future episodes.

Good review. That sums up the film pretty well. The horror community went crazy for Hatchet...for all the wrong reasons. This was not a return to old school horror as it was billed. It was a return to stupid. At this point, I could care less about cameos by Englund or Hodder. Englund is an embarrassment now. Seriously, that guy is a one trick pony. Hodder? Well, Hodder played Jason for Christ's sake. Who cares? He's a freaking stuntman. I do think that Tony Todd (Candyman) is a good actor but his talents are wasted here.

Behind the Mask is a superior film. No doubt about it.

Have you seen All The Boys Love Mandy Lane? It's not a great film but it's a solid little thriller.

Okay, I have to pretty much agree with everything you just posted. I love horror movies. Hatchet was a piece of crap. A PIECE OF CRAP! For a much better indie horror experience, I'd recommend Behind The Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon.

I couldn't stand Kath & Kim. I hope that shows a quick death. It was really horrendous. I wasn't thrilled by last night's episode of The Office either. I haven't read what anyone else has said about it. I thought the season premiere was a great start. Just because Pam is supposed to be in NYC doesn't mean Jenna Fischer shouldn't be getting some airtime. Come on!

Oh and if you're reading Phantoms, you should check out the film starring Rose McGowan & Ben Affleck. "Affleck you the bomb in Phantoms, Yo!"

Great article. I'm flattered to be included in the list. I think this is a balanced list of users on FF because each one of them posts unique and interesting material.

I would love to take FF behind the middle school & get it pregnant. I wish I could take credit for that line but I pilfered it from 30 Rock.

FriendFeed is clearly a winner. It is quickly becoming my absolute favourite site.

Just jump right in and start participating. That's the only way to appreciate FriendFeed. It trumps Twitter and Facebook in so many ways. Big thumbs up from me.

The new Oasis track is brilliant. I say that every time they release a new single but this song really has something.
