Mark Van Steenwyk is a member of Missio Dei (Missio Dei is an Anabaptist intentional community anchored on the West Bank of Minneapolis that pursues Jesus’ way of simplicity, prayer, hospitality, and peace). Mark is a writer, speaker, and grassroots educator (which means that he tries to mess with people’s thinking, but he usually does this outside of an institutional setting…though he has done some adjunct work with Bethel University).He and his wife Amy have been married since 1997. They live in South Minneapolis with random friends and their son Jonas.
