...the American the African American experience. Is. Overwhelming. Just overwhelming and I think if if the roles were reversed. And I saw the first white guy to be president even if I disagreed with him- unless I thought he was the anti-Christ, I might go you know what? I want the guy. ...and none of them seemed to catch on to just how stupid, and stupidly conscending, he was being, and none of them reacted to the "anti-Christ" crack.

Well, if you can stomach watching it, or even clicking a Fox News link, here's the link to the whole thing, broken up into three parts. I've watched the first one, and there's actually a little back-and-forth. Unfortunately, so far, the conversation seems to be a run-through of the usual tired memes ("Why do you call yourselves African Americans?").

It's not an either/or situation. I'm almost always suspicious of anyone who urges us to "shift the focus", rather than widening it. Besides, when I mentioned their common goal, I wasn't implying that their ultimate goal is to kill black people. To the extent they want to see that happen, it's just a means to an end, that end being the re-establishment of Jim Crow or something like it on a national scale. No, they don't want us to go away- that wouldn't be much fun for them.

None of them have reacted with a reign of terror...yet.

As far as putting on a shirt and tie, David Duke was the first to do that, and he is certainly part of the "racialist" movement, just like Taylor. Yeah, I know he's on the "we still need to hate Jews" side of the rift in that movement, but he's still part of it. Taylor, et al may not want to get their own hands dirty with openly espousing violence, but they certainly sympathize with those who do.

The point is, it doesn't matter if they happen to be Klansmen, "scientific racists", or extreme "libertarians", the effect of them seeing their goals come to fruition will have the same basic effect on black people.

Well, for one thing, I think there's a huge amount of overlap in their agendas. Secondly, if violence is violence regardless, why is it "important" to point out that one group isn't "racialist"? It felt kind of silly to even type that, because the only real difference is that one group admits it is "racialist", and doesn't employ quite as much code and dishonest rhetoric...code and rhetoric that's designed to achieve the exact same goals as those of the admitted "racialists".

Are you saying they're only capable of violence, or fomenting violence, if they're part of the really, really, (really) explicitly "racialist" right? Or are you saying that if they're not out-and-out Klansmen or neo-Nazis, black people shouldn't be concerned? Why shouldn't we be concerned?

or watching programs (Rated R etc) on tv. My nieces have children and I constantly get on them to not allow the kids to watch the same programming they watch.

Also, maybe the girl had older siblings and saw things she shouldn't have. . . .

We need to take better care of our kids and protect them more. Especially when they are so young.

Well, it wasn't exactly "massive", and I used the past tense because I haven't seen any of the ads for a little while, now.
