You've hit the nail right on the head. Until comparable apps to Listpro and Kinoma become available, using the Blackberry has made me really parse down my usage in some areas, although it has greatly improved my experience in others.

To me, the things the iPhone/iPod Touch are best suited for are video watching, music and podcasts, and gaming. I just cannot see myself seriously attempting to draft a document, edit a spreadsheet or getting into a deep conversation via instant message with anyone on it. The idea that I would have to save and close my present task each time the phone rings, or that I couldn't pop over to view my calendar is outrageous to me. And the final nail in the coffin is the lack of any today screen functionality as found in WebOS, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, Nokia and even Android.

One small part of the screen almost look like its crumpled underneath the glass- hard to explain exactly. And another there's a bright spot right near the usb charging port.

It seems like the Pre has no accessible file structure, kind of similar to the iPhone. My guess is that you would be able to open photo and doc files as email attachment and then (hopefully) store in the designated area for that file type.

I think you need to find a way to have your app featured directly through FriendFeed- the users there are more likely to get Viigo to get a mobile FF experience, than Viigo users are to start using FriendFeed. You guys appear to be the only mobile FriendFeed client for Windows Mobile and Blackberry- harness that exclusivity!

I've heard about the low volume on the iPod Touch and since my purpose is to just have an alternative to looking for standalone speakers in a crunch, I think it will be fine.

Fuze battery is too small, as I recall. I have an Xperia X1a on its way which has a 1500 mAh battery standard and I bought an 1800mAh one that fits without an extra battery cover. I expect ~15 hours minimum as I don't stream or otherwise play video, just 3G push email with light browsing and some music playing.

I do miss a lot of the customizations. However, I realized that once I stopped futzing around and tweaking a device, I could actually get down to the business of using it. While battery life is what brought me to Blackberry, its the general stability that's keeping me here. Even without video in the equation, I could not get anywhere near as long battery life on my Fuze as I could with my Bold.
If there's one thing I've learned in my years of tech- its never say never. The one thing I've always longed for on WM Pro is a VGA QWERTYbar. If that shows up, then I may well be back.

Thanks, and yes, I still have nightmares about that moment of contact. I tried to convince my husband that he should wear a helmet all the time now- this idea, however, did not fly.

The advantage of having a separate device is that a phone call will never interrupt your flow (unless you choose to take the call)

Yes, I'm aware the webcam isn't the best but I don't really use it anyway. Thanks for the heads up about Windows 7 and the mic- I was debating whether or not to install that. I really use the Mini as my 'quick-grab', on my night-table device.

For now, I'm loving my Bold. Still have my Fuze, though which I'll probably upgrade the ROM this weekend. MWC's stuff looks kind of blah. Mainly incremental technical updates to existing products so far. I get my email through my Gmail accounts for now and that's been working perfectly for me. Blackberry mail (BIS) is free.

I think this weekend I will go ahead and do a hard reset. Even now as I am using my Bold, I notice that the battery on the Fuze continues to drain at an extremely high rate with no usage and all radios off.

So far I haven't figured out an easy way to get my mail2web onto the Bold. I'm sure there's a way, its just not apparent to me. Since I mainly have my other accounts forwarding to the M2W, I just use my gmail account directly on the Bold.

Hardware-wise, its superior to the HP 910. The only problem is that its just a tad bit too wide. It makes the convenience keys kind of inconvenient to press.

It only looks bigger because it was attached to my phone, and therefore closer to the camera. Not sure about the back from the Touch Pro, though.
