I think the problem was that the "Free Public Internet" had corrupted something (even though that makes no sense) because I wasn't able to even see the networks available.  I had concluded it was something wrong with my laptop, but it connected fine at the airport on my way to LV and worked just fine once I got it home.  Oh well.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I know all about the benefits of the wireless card lol - I want one very badly now!
