i'd love to do something like that but that would take raising serious money. so it's one of my to-dos but not in the immediate future :D

that said, i've been toying since last year with videocasting. i now have a pretty good idea of what i want to do. just have to finish some project before going to the next thing :P

am anyhow all ears if you have any suggestions and/or ideas :)

Yep. I still need to file the papers but we're no longer living together. I think the impending holidays are going to be rough and I am already feeling the depression brain worms eating away at my moods. Here's to hoping we're both ok soon.

augh. i can't even wrap my head around it. am still exploring separation options as in, should be go to arbitration or straight to court. unfortunately NY doesnt have no-fault divorces. totally sucks --and believe it or not, a lot of the blame falls on NOWs shoulders. grrrrrr.

thansk for words of encouragement though. i need all i can get to keep going :)

thank you, love. those emotional triggers are so real. i mean, my weight woes were also made worse by an injury that left me in such pain it triggered depression. so, yeah, lots of things to be mindful of. like the fact am not alone in this 'cause you're there :)

thanks. it's been hard to admit to the not just the grief but the shame. and yet, am so over it. i really want to feel better. exercising every day and eating thoughtfully really make me happy. so here i am :)

I noticed that, it's exactly my point. This isn't about justice for the victim, because the victim has moved on. It's about vengeance. Further I said nothing about the severity of the crime, nor about what crimes he may have committed since then. I agree with you, and am not defending his actions.

My point is very simple. The law should be applied with an even hand. Whenever a celeb gets away with something people are quick to point that out and accuse the system of treating high-profile people differently.

Apparently, that same attitude does not apply when the system does the opposite - and relentlessly pursues someone simply because they are a celebrity.

Same is true of Martha Stewart. She was made an example of for a crime that probably would have not even raised a blip had it been a man. Many women spoke out against her being made an example of. I agreed. Although the crime is different here, the situation is not.

if you noticed, it's the STATE OF CALIFORNIA vs. ROMAN POLANSKI. the state has a responsibility and sure, he's a celebrity, why not make an example of ESPECIALLY since it is a heinous crime to ply your victim with alcohol and drugs so you can rape them ESPECIALLY IF YOUR RAPING A 13 YEAR OLD CHILD.

just because nobody else can come forward about his depravity doesnt mean he hasnt preyed on little girls since then. Actually, he did, Natsja Kinski and she was 15 at the time in what people like us to believe was a consensual relationship --he being a good friend of her fucke up father and a 40+ year old man.

even though i wrote that am still kinda not feeling the #DV even though it makes sense for how short it is. maybe i just need to use it more often until it become second nature. i just wished there was a better way to make #DV stand for domestic violence and not something like "digital videos" :P

Liza, that depends where they are coming from. I love you, but statistically where are you getting your info?

According to latest stats. (2006) 70% of the undocumented are from border countries with their own countries' consulate id but no valid passport. The other 30% are on expired Visas; be it student, work or otherwise.

The 70% have less than 8th grade (U.S.) education...I only know this because I work for the criminal justice system/government, and am supervising undocumented clients-my caseload is at an alarming rate- the systemic climate, not having the necessary transitional education that comes with becoming a citizen, and bureaucracy having internally collapsed. Many offenders are not privy to local laws, mores, value-systems or cultural acceptances.

Maybe if communities would stop yelling and put forth solid legislation to not only help undocumented persons acclimate there might be a reduction in crimes. Additionally, a global response to migrate legally and maybe and an urge for more manpower for B.I.C.E-they are terribly underfunded and over worked and underpaid, to facilitate some movement. The marches are getting old and locales more in debt. AND not all are allowed to "stay" just "some". {Thinking of Cubans, Dominicans and Haitians who get detained while others get free lunch and their gangs called "Drug Cartel" when they are clearly terrorists} Just saying.

If they're documented, then clearly 'undocumented resident/immigrant" would be an obfuscating term. You're shooting yourself in the foot with that one.

Like I said, semantics. The term itself is not derogatory. What you're doing is analogous to black ppl being offended by the word "minority". You're diluting your voice. See "The Boy Who Cried Wolf".

And clearly I did not mean to click "like" on that comment. Just sayin'
