So, now you know.

Here are those numbers "for the viewers at home."
202-225-3121
202-224-3121

PS: Leon, great to see you in the comment section, how's things?

Cheers ~LB (as a BYT fan and in my capacity as an official 3121 Community Manager)

Re: The Hottest Men of Twitter

CC -- you are THTH. It is interesting to look at Twitter as a bell weather, as well as a communications device that allows people to give their own red-carpet-punditry. It seems, in some ways, that the full-contact and intimate nature of social technologies like Twitter are in fact emblematic of a larger cultural shift: more sharing, more public... dissolution of the private. Talking to folks in their 40s, 50s and 60s I've found that while some are interested and even participating in social media (if their childeren and/or jobs necessitate it), a greater percentage can't believe how "out there" people choose to be on platforms like Twitter and Facebook.

Again, thanks for looking below the surface and for linking to our report -- I am sending your post around to the New Media Strategies team as we speak :-)

All the best ~ L.

Leslie A. Authenticity matters in this field in ways that become immediately apparent -- either you are out there, or you are not.

On a personal note, my team and I over at New Media Strategies have built some of the most interesting and community-serving campaigns and, more importantly, conversations for clients because we are made up of real-deal diggers, Wikipedians, Twitters, bloggers (some Weblog nominees and credentialed political bloggers during the Election, at that), etc.

C-SPAN is one of many great examples of this that I love to plug when I get the chance: http://is.gd/k8tC

Thanks again,
Leslie (@Leslieann44)

PS: WOMMA is slated to host a webinar on 2/25 w/ Molly Flatt, 1000heads that seems to also be addressing this: "When it comes to Social Media, never have so many, talked so much, knowing so little."

Re: links for 2009-02-07

Kevin, many thanks for the link love!
