Your openness about the rollercoaster of founder life has been therapy for me. Thanks for having the courage to share it all, and I look forward to seeing SparkToro go.

Re: Why events are the final frontier in data-driven marketing

Sam, thanks for the comment.

Agree on all points, specifically:

1) Improving the quality and quantity of leads surfaced for exhibitors is just the beginning of what can be tackled with better data. It's an obvious place to start, as that's where much of the budget is.

2) Mobile data is not the only data source (and we are looking to pull in data from other third party sources such as reg data and social media profiles). Where it gets exciting is if you can combine your marketing automation data with your live events data...

- Lawrence

Re: Product > Strategy > Business Model

Yammer might be an example of that.

Re: Entrepreneurshit. Enterprise software is not going anywhere either... my only point is that we *should* see enterprise systems become less complex as mobile becomes the dominant computing platform.

Re: Feature Friday: Concierge

Yeah, I like Songza too. The Enterprise can only hold off the forces shaping the consumer technology world for so long before it is overrun. IT, Policy, and incumbent systems can slow change down, but can't stop it. It's a really good time to be thinking about the implications of how networked employees, partners, and customers will change the way people work.

Re: Who wants a great engineering team in Bucharest?
