Thank you. However, I should say that despite our current troubles, we don't ever (ever, ever, EVER) want to leave this place. The Gorge is a wonderful community, filled with wonderful people and a lot of positive energy. We don't have a @BeerAndBlog and some other amenities- and we don't have the amazingly awesome PDX tech community to hang out with on like 3 days/week. I do sometimes wish I could get into Portland to do that. However, what we do have, and the size and closeness of our community is something that I really value and cherish. I really want to get into PDX to see everyone- make a trip to The Green Dragon, have Lunch 2.0, but I want to spend most of my time nestled snugly in the arms of the Columbia River. This is my home- it's a hard place to leave.

Re: My America, Part II: The Nightmare

John - you are the greatest. This too shall pass. My regards and condolences to your wife.

Also, seriously not kidding - spam her resume to your tweeps and let's get y'all out of That Place.

Re: What once was Elementary, is now Ideademic.

So...WTF do you do? ;-) Welcome. We're very close, neighborhood wise, to each other, and thus should meet somewhere for coffee and/or munchies.

...Like for example at the PDX Tweetup Breakfast: http://upcoming.yahoo.com/event/1264676
