While this works as advertised, the only issue, as you pointed out, it that your notes are saved in some new notebook.

I therefore find it more easy to clip pages into OneNote via drag-n-drop.

Fred - While the BB browser is not bad, I would suggest getting the Opera Mini for BB - it rocks. You may also want to check Yahoo! Go for BB - beautiful interface and you get live data like weather, stock ,etc.

Another thought - Leave your blog at shripriya.com/blog untouched and use Tumblr with a new sub-domain like blog.shripriya.com.

Since you are using Feedburner to syndicate feeds, you can change them to point to the new Tumblr feeds instead of WP feeds.

Another advantage - you won't take a hit on existing search traffic and there won't be any drop in RSS subscribers.

I write for a couple of newspapers in India and always use tinyurl instead of regular URLs. But online editions of these newspapers rarely drive any traffic to the linked site because they never make the external links active - it's just a replica of the print edition.

Leo - the most interesting part of Windows Live Writer is support for external plugins - you can include Flickr photos, website screen captures, videos and more without leaving the editor.

And like the WordPress bookmarklets, there are extensions of IE / Firefox to blog quickly.
