Wowzers. I was talking about it with Skeets Thursday night and I just assumed I was correct with my "2011 the contract is over" assertion. Where the hell is an intern when you need him? I thought it was signed last year for last year. That changes things a lot.

You're underestimating how long a four-team, best-of-three-series would take. I mean, you're looking at AT LEAST a week's worth of games and travel. That'll never fly.

Also, you're forgetting the whole point of this mini-tourney idea — people freakin' love do-or-die drama. Does it always determine the "best" team? No. But it's exciting as hell.

Ronny Turiaf is a big part of that trade. If I was Ferry, I wouldn't pull it off unless he was involved. Big Z was destroyed by Dwight in the postseason; Turiaf isn't a better answer at the defensive end? What they were desperately looking for in Ben Wallace, they would find in Ronny.
