Maybe the simple explanation for the quoted analysis below are trading bots which are still programmed the same way as before. Maybe they still use the same "bear" strategy to trade BTC. Since there are no trading fees on OKCoin it is known that the largest exchange by volume is a paradise for bots.

Ethereum and Nextcoin (NXT) are more similar than either of those compared to Mastercoin.

Mastercoin doesn't have its own blockchain. Ethereum and NXT have one. And both NXT and Ethereum are turing complete. Mastercoin is not.

Ethereum will be 30% premined and will be both proof-of-work and proof-of-stake. Since NXT is 100% proof-of-stake, NXT is 100% owned since day one.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is true. Soundcloud is much better suited to expose new artists than Spotify is.

Years in the past I found new artists, even today's superstars like Muse or Justice with Hypem.

I'm not surprised at all. 4 weeks ago I started a new hobby side project posting future trends. And I use Buffer to post to multiple social networks.

I have massive traction on Twitter compared to the rest. But almost none on my public Facebook page and zero on my Google+ page. My explanation: The discoverability on Twitter is much higher.

Thanks for giving me these detailed insights, Guillaume. I guess I know what your algorithms noticed.

Exactly in the time when you launched the new Scoop.it version with the new silver/gold curator status - I had no time to update my topic for about 8 days. And what made things worse, my last update had a picture that looked ugly and boring in the preview section of the "innovation" topic. Overall I know that I tend to post more boring "dry" stuff, which always gets much lower reactions (as I currently learn on my Flipboard magazine) which I guess has negative effects for my rankings on Scoop.it.

I'm totally fine with having a "silver status". That is already an honor. I was only confused by the change without explanation to me, from getting directly to gold and then a week later ranked back to silver.

P.S. It would be great if the curator could change which images shows up there: Currently it's always the last added article, you have no choice to select a different one that may look better, if the current image of your own topic looks horrible: http://www.scoop.it/i/innov...

Das Display vom Google vom Nexus 7 ist mir zu klein.

Das Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 hat nur ein 1280 x 800 Display, nur 1,5 GB RAM und nur einen Exynos-4212, Dual-Core Prozessor.

Das neue LG G Pad 8.3 scheint dagegen insgesamt perfekt ausgestattet zu sein.

Why did you review the one year old 2012 version of the Google Nexus 7 tablet?

The Nexus 7 version of 2013 has 2 GB RAM and the CPU is a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro (Quad-Core) with 1,5 GHz. And a 7" 1920x1200 screen:

Hi Marc,

the main problem for me - why I don't share much much more on Scoop.it to my "future" topic (that leveled up to 'gold') - is that I have no quick and easy option to do so Post-PC. That's why I currently focus 90% of my sharing time on other platforms, such as Flipboard.

As background: I'm mainly in news discovery mode when using my iPhone apps and in work mode when at my PC (where I don't like to open Scoop.it while working).

- With the current iPhone app I can't even re-scoop an article that I like. I would expect that a long press on an article from someone else (or another gesture) on Scoop.it would allow me to easily rescoop something. But no.

- I can easily share to Buffer via their Email feature (http://bufferapp.com/guides....
- I can easily share to Pocket via their Email feature (http://help.getpocket.com/c....
- And I can save something to Evernote via their Email feature (http://blog.evernote.com/bl...
- But no. Not possible to share something to a predefined topic on Scoop.it. I use this for Buffer all the time, to share from any iOS news app on my iPhone to the outside world - because Email is the lowest common feature at least available in each app (as you know sharing data on iOS is very very very horrible limited in contrast to Android - the least you can do is sharing by email, that is the minimum of each news app there).

All said, there is no way for me to share a highly interesting news article to Scoop.it as of now. On iOS there is no sharing function available at all, I can't directly share from Zite or Prismatic or Riversip or whatever app to the Scoop.it app (because of Apple). And I can't indirectly share a link from such news apps to Scoop.it (because of your missing Email feature). So I'm stuck and just update my topic 1-2 times per week. And haven't started any new topics.

P.S. I'm really a passionate user of sharing tools. I may have even influenced your decision to introduce the "rescoop" function some years ago. I was a very early Tumble user and liked their "reblog" very much, so I told someone of your team in your feedback area, that I don't see any point in using Scoop.it as long as you don't offer a similar function, got a reply that it sounded good - and some weeks later - the "re-scoop" was introduced :) And I had the feeling this was the point when Scoop.it started to take off with user engagements.

I agree with you. The quality of the apps is mostly better on iOS. I have an iPhone 5. But I hate the silos on iOS.

BTW: You should also take a look at these apps that especially make the most out of Android (iOS will never offer this experience):

Here is my everyday iOS problem:

- I find a interesting link in news app Zite, I want to directly share it to Tumblr. I can't.

- I find a interesting link in news app Prismatic. I want to directly share it to Buffer. I can't.

- I find a interesting song on Soundcloud in Flipboard. I want to share it to Tumblr. I can't.

- I find a interesting article in another news app. I want to directly save it to Pocket. I can't.

- I find a interesting article in yet another news app. I want to directly save it to Evernote. I can't.

With Android in each case the answer is: Yes, you can!

A bigger screen is nice, but not that important.

Have you ever installed SwiftKey? This is a smart keyboard app. This single app improved (my) Android experience by 50%. And no, you can't install any smart keyboards as your default app on iOS. On iOS you can only install a keyboard app and then copy & paste the text. I'm not kidding.

I switched from Android to iOS because I had the first HTC Desire smarthphone that was quickly outdated. It shipped with Android 2.1 and could only be upgraded to Android 2.3. Whereas a iPhone 3GS from the same time frame can today at least still be updated to iOS 6.

But the main reason I switched from Android to iOS was the much better app ecosystem and app quality.

Still I'm very frustrated with all the app silos on iOS. I found some iOS news apps that don't even allow you to share a news article via email. What a joke. Every app is a very sad silo on iOS. Whereas on Android the more apps you have on your smartphone, the better the experience is.
