There has been a lot of talk about where the money comes from for the recall of Jerry Kern. It is very important that we know where the contributions to politicians are coming from. Every Oceanside resident needs to know where both sides get their money. Where does Jerry Kern and Feller/Chavez get their money? How much of it is from individual citizens? How much of it comes from outside Oceanside?

This is why Rush Limbaugh doesn't give a shit if his bloviating and hate-mongering destroy the Republican Party; so long as "millions" are tuning in in and he's making sacks full of money as fat as he is, he's happy.

Maybe that's the REAL reason Palin dumped the guv job: the GOP is a sinking ship and there's money to be made pandering to the idiots clinging to its wreckage.

If Schwarzenneger had not vetoed the elected California legislature's legalization of same-sex marriage TWICE with the excuse that he wanted the California Supreme Court to decide the matter, this would not have had to have been decided in the judicial system.

In any event, polls show that voters support the legalization and would vote down the proposed proposition to re-illegalize same-sex marriage.

Although we may be lacking in House pride, per se, I think it is fair to characterize almost every resident of the Dudley Co-op as very satisfied with their housing situation. The College should definitely make more options like the Co-op available as they plan the future of residential life at Harvard.

When will Iraq be any more peaceful than it is today? No political reconciliation has occurred and peace is not possible without it. How long do we have to wait until we can leave Iraq? John McCain says he is fine with 100 years.

John McCain says he'd be happy to see our troops in Iraq for another hundred years. I just can't agree with that.
