I found this PR to work well for me. I've been using it. It doesn't work super well with the ESC toggle functionality, but I mostly wanted to have the CTRL+CMD+SHIFT+OPT support.

Anyone have this working on the 10.12.1 beta of Sierra? Wondering if it's me doing something wrong, or the beta. I feel like everything is set based on the tutorial from Matt Perry + here, but Caps Lock fails to actually do anything.

Totally agree with your assessments.

I'm a YNAB 4 user and I felt out of control with YNAB. If they can get some of the more advanced features in there then I will happily switch. As of now I paid the $45/yr in anticipation of what's to come. :)

We may give Proclaim another go in the future, but it was a rough ride a little over a year ago. They continued to have server issues on Sunday mornings (for about a month) and we had some mornings where we simply had no way of presenting anything because when the servers were down it disabled all aspects of their software. So we made the heavy decision of switching to ProPresenter. So far (although there have been minor bugs there too) it's been phenomenally more stable than Proclaim.

Hopefully ProPresenter can get integration with Elvanto going eventually.

Just wanted to check in on this before I pester RenewedVision. Our church is looking to move from Planning Center, but we do use this feature. So I figured I'd inquire about this. :)

It's not something that would make us not choose Elvanto, but having that integration with Planning Center has been nice.

One thing I'm unclear on with the Namespace updating in Artisan. Does it update all files that are namespaced as "App" in the /app directory? Or does it only do the default ones from the install?

Guess I can check the source. :) I'll have to do that later.

Yea, you shouldn't need it with what you've created.

The one nicety to your script is that you only have one command to trigger whether you're in Mail, or somewhere else on the system. That distinction was lost during my initial read.

For me, it's not that Sublime is bad... PHPStorm just adds niceties when working with PHP that Sublime either doesn't offer, or is clunky to deal with.

For example, New File creation. Sublime still doesn't really work like a native file tree in OS X, so you need a plugin and even that is a headache when you're trying to move files around, or simply create a few classes quickly.

Another huge benefit is linting. PHPStorm does linting across files. So if I create an Interface and implement that in a Repository, it knows when I haven't included all of the functions that the Interface requires. Could I do that by hand? Sure, but it's nice to have that automation.

And the last one I'll mention is auto-complete/import. SublimeCodeIntel offers _some_ auto-complete, but no where near the level that PHPStorm does with it's auto-complete -> import functionality. I type "Collection" and it will hint and suggest "Illuminate\Support\Collection". I hit enter and it auto adds the use statement and completes the class name.

I was really skeptical about PHPStorm, but it's really growing on me and it has made me a better developer (I think). I still use Sublime for HTML/JS/Legacy based projects, so I'm not totally against it.

EDIT: One thing I also forgot... Auto code formatting. So you set in your preferences the way you prefer your code to be formatted, and you can select a portion of code, or have it act on the whole file, and hit CMD+OPT+L and it will format everything per your standard. A wonderful tool when you're anal about how your code looks.

A couple points from my end.

If you use CMD+P (Search everywhere) to filter down to the folder (CMD+P > controllers/ > Enter). It will open in the sidebar (even if it's hidden), and then you can CMD+N.

In your last example, if you have a file open, you don't have to do CMD+Up and then CMD+N, you can simply do CMD+N, and it will assume that you want the current directory.

What's stopping you from announcing what the plans will look like and then giving a grace period? What this hem hawing makes it looks like is that you're trying to pull the wool over people's eyes and boost sales before the end of the year. :/

I'm not a subscriber currently since the features don't align with what I need but this makes me less likely to choose this service when the features do align.

We are supposed to love, but we're also supposed to keep ourselves from being polluted by the world. We as Christians tend to lean heavily on one or the other. There needs to be balance. We are called to love, which has gotten shafted a lot, but we _also_ are called to uphold the things God has told us not to do so that we aren't polluted by the world. We're also supposed to spur one another on toward these things.

I know churches have heavily, heavily focused on what we shouldn't be doing. That should probably be minimized as we find our place in loving the people of this world to bring them toward Jesus, but it shouldn't be forgotten. I hate to hear, "love, love, love!" I know why it's being shouted because we forget that more than we forget to not be polluted, but I don't want the shift to go completely in the other direction and we simply look like the world, but with compassion. There should be a difference in our lives in both areas.

Sorry for the mini-rant. We just talked about this Sunday, so it's a little fresh.

No, I don't believe myself better than most.

What I fail to understand is why there shouldn't be consequences for your actions? I don't understand how it's ok to kill a baby, but if I murder a 1 year old, then I can be put to death, or jailed for life. It makes absolutely no logical sense to me.

Having legalized abortion has created a thin cloud of mystery as to what is murder and what isn't.

In a hypothetical situation, let's say that our anatomy was such that if we were to try to shoot someone we had to shoot through our own body to kill that person. When people start shooting each other we have double casualties. The hospitals are overwhelmed with lots of people who are in rough shape because they keep shooting themselves. So the answer to this conundrum is to make a device that bypasses this nature born method and allows people to shoot each other freely.

This is not a perfect analogy, but it just sounds crazy. Nature has bred women in such a way that they are physically effected by giving birth. Whether you like this or not, whether you agree with it or not.. that is the way it is.

I just don't feel it's ok to help someone take another's life. I feel there should be consequences for that action.

Yes, in my opinion, Parallels 4.0 is going to have to do some magnificent things in order to keep up with VMWare now. They were ahead, but they've really let their features slide. You never know though, 4.0 could blow us all away.. haha! But I doubt it, at the moment.

That looks like a good mic. Has some good reviews. Definitely a cheaper alternative. There are some from some better known brands (I've just personally never heard of Azden) but they get pricey. That mic would at least give you a lot better audio than what you would get from the internal Canon mic on your Elura. For example, Sweetwater has this mic ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/... ). Amazon link for picture, as Sweetwater didn't have one. It's a Sennheiser, which I personally love.

But ultimately it comes down to price to performance. Can you afford the Sennheiser, probably. But will it grant you that much extra clarity that it's worth it. Are you only doing a few interviews a year with video? If so, it'd probably be better to go the cheaper route. Are you doing an all video interview setup? Then I would splurge for a better mic to keep production values up.
