Though my focus right now is the 379 monks and nuns from Bat Nha Monastery, I have Mennonite roots and am aware of the protestant prosecution taking place in the highlands as well.

It is time to reconsider Vietnam's role in the WTO until these religious freedoms can be addressed.

Re: Religious Freedom in Vietnam – Help Bat Nha

A couple more good sources of information and background on religious activities in Vietnam.

Vietnam's War on Religion

Rushford Report 2009: An Inconvenient Man

Re: 400 Monastics Being Forcefully Evicted Today

Update from the Associated Press

Re: An Introduction

Thanks Laura. Of course, if everyone/everything migrated outside an institution we would just have scholars providing content, right? It's an interesting environment.

We definitely need to start showing web 2.0; on my campus I serve on two IT-related committees and am chair of the committee on online instruction and this provides a great opportunity.

Do you work with my friend Cindi?

Re: Are you an edupunk librarian?

Thank you Daniela for bringing this to my attention; I will check it out.

Re: Are you an edupunk librarian?

I love you Steve; thank you for writing so beautifully (as usual) and singing the praises of the analog.

Re: Are you an edupunk librarian?

Great links Steven and thank you Patti for making the connection to traditional media.

Even though I recognize that user experience can be done with little or no money, and this is where I will focus, to do it at the level of Starbucks and the Ritz-Carlton will cost some money; I'm sure they spent a ton. Granted, we can learn from what they did in business and not spend as much money.

Keep the comments coming.

Re: Should You Use DISQUS Comment System? One thing not mentioned here is that all your comments (across blogs) are in one place if they all use Disqus. Also, if you manage multiple blogs then you can manage the comments in one place too.

Thanks for the review and all the comments so far.

Re: Today I Have 20 Years Sober, Thank You

The feeling is mutual Cindi. Obviously we have spent considerable time on the previous drafts and most would probably consider them good goals.

Another option might be brainstorm on goals in light of the others documents and current fiscal environment. Then look see how it might mesh with our existing work.

Just adding measurables could work too. What do others think?

Re: Change Short Name Request

thank you for the prompt attention.

kn
