Yes, I too am testing it out on iOS but am waiting on the the desktop. I like the new features and plan to use as my personal task manager.

I’ve been using Flow for about 10-years and really like it but plan to only use for work purposes. It allows me to delegate tasks and track my staff completions. Etc.

Thanks for the comment Maqroll. Yes, many books to choose from when it comes to Thich Nhat Hanh. For the first time reader, I usually recommend “Peace is Every a Step” or “Miracle of Mindfulness” as good starting points.

Nice discussion of the options. One part about Bests that I think is important is that it base foundation was a product called Mog. Founded in June 2005, MOG began as a music-themed social network and blog network, launched their music service in 2009 and was bought by Beats in 2012. I'm a long time Mog subscriber (then Beats, now Apple). Great service for discovery of new music and curated playlists.

Thanks for this Ronnie. We do appreciate and value people all across the nation and wish we could get to more locations. Our focus on this tour is the three practice centers we own in the USA. They are only located in California, Mississippi, and New York. We do offer smaller tours from time to time that do bring us to other locations. Peace.

Thay will be recovering in Plum Village this year but you can join the monastic community founded, ordained and trained by Thich Nhat Hanh as they tour the United States to continue the legacy of the beloved Zen master. The events listed here on this site are all the planned activities.

Well, it was much easier than I thought and just had to turn it on. You now have the option to email, print, Facebook, or Tweet a post.

Like you, I recieve a lot of email and likewise a fast reader (I've kept my inbox has been less than 25 messages for years). Been using Sanebox about six months and love it. It's particularly useful if you use the mail app on iOS because the folder structure actually works unlike when using Gmail's priority inbox. Well worth the price.

The practice of noble silence is usually determined by the retreat organizers at the time of the retreat. As with our practice centers around the world, we will always have noble silence from after the evening activity until after breakfast.

Avalokiteshvara is the Bodhisattva of Compassion and Deep Listening. A bodhisattva is literally "enlightened being," one committed to enlightening oneself and others so that all may be liberated from suffering.

The chant is simply her name along with namo which is a phrase uttered when paying homage or respect to someone or something.

The actual words are "Namo 'valokiteshvaraya" repeated.
