I've decided it's time to stop hiding it. 9 trips to the ER by the beginning of August. I was killing myself. Most of my FB friends know if they pay attention. I've got a story, albeit horrible, to share.

3 weeks here. Longest sobriety was 5 months since I started at age 21. My emotions are up and down. I guess that's expected. I see a counselor 2x a week. She helps. It's just difficult to talk about for me.

SAHD's kick butt too. I was self employed for almost 10 years and there were many times when (I was married at the time) when my ex-wife would call be and not even know it was a snow day. Now I am fortunate enough to have landed a work from home job so I can be that for my GF's son. Guys carry the weight too.
