Thanks for the suggestion Bill! I haven't seen "War Room" yet but
will definitely hunt it down. It was great because as I was reading
the book, "By the People" debuted on HBO which is a documentary that
chronicled the 2 years of the campaign from the inside. It wasn't
tied to the book but was interesting to have side-by-side comparisons.

I think you hit on it exactly. The problem is that everyone is an expert
because they figured out how to use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and the
other social tools. Those that have their heads down building that track
record aren't concerned with whether they're called an expert, specialist or
whatever.

That is understandable and I think some others feel that same way too. Take
a peek at the book and see what you think. At the very least, it will be a
good history lesson and storytelling :)

We came up with the menu in conjunction with the Executive Chef. Since I'm
a partner in a restaurant and we're both foodies, we wanted to have a real
say in the process. We did do a tasting after we decided on the menu but
before the wedding. We then decided to make some small changes to the menu
that's posted on the blog. As far as finding someone, the Executive Chef
was provided through the venue that we had our reception at.

I wish you luck in planning your wedding. It is definitely a hard,
occasionally frustrating, but fun time :)

Luckily for me, we don't have a vending machine at the office. But, I
agree. I always have to have lots of snacks around me or else I get cranky

I'm not sure what we'll do when we redesign the blog again. I'll stick with
this for the next 3-6 months or so as I have a lot of other design projects
on the table right now to work through first. Ha! ;)

I hear a book that's title something like "Putting the Public Back in Public
Relations" is pretty good too ;) If you haven't read "Rules of Thumb" by
Alan M. Webber, I'd add that to your reading list too.

Yeah, breaks are definitely necessary from time-to-time. I think with the
right balance, multi-tasking is great. But, it's that balance that gets
thrown out of whack so often and needs to be realigned.

I couldn't agree more! Soups are one of those dishes that people make seem very complicated but, in reality, is simple. I *love* making soups and stews during the Fall and Winter. One of my favorite to make is corn and potato chowder.

Since I'm at Caminito today, I think I'll be having some soup with dinner tonight :)

I know, it's becoming kinda scary huh? It's really sad sort of...I could
eat at Chipotle every day and not get sick of it. I told my wife, who works
right next door to Chipotle, that I'm going to start placing orders from my
iPhone and having her grab it for me on her way home from work. :)
