I heard Hoffman speak yesterday on Utube. My Gosh the man is a empty vessel with fewer idea's an talking points than Palin herself. Palin attemps to cover her inadequate ability to speak in sentence's of the english language. This man simply fails at the English language all together. He strings stuff together, like a child takeing his first lesson in speaking properly. It's a sad day for NY when they elect some one who fails to understand their problems,can't combine his thinking process into verbal sense, and will be controled by the teabaggers an the likes of of the extremist in this country. Yes, I see why they choose him to back now!

I wouldn't vote for any one Palin had a mind to vote for! That lady scares me. The problem is the party is so fractured now, I don't see any leaders at all! I was hopeing a good one would amerge, so I could at least go back to the party I supported for so many years once again. Palins the reason I voted Obama.

I find Mr. Weigel's inclusion of the factual statement that former Senator Allen called a dark-skinned Indian a "Macaca" entirely appropriate in context. He is pointing out that it is surprising that 40% of Virginia's African Americans might vote for someone who called a dark-skinned individual a term that is an obscure term for "Monkey." We all know that racists have referred to "blacks" as apes or monkeys. I think you are making a leap, jupitor, to infer that Mr. Weigel is showing a partisan bias with his comment. He is simply exposing the irony of the polling result.

Unlikely. Remember, this is a survey regarding relative trust, and qualifying as a study subject necessitates exposure to the other selections, including CNN and MSNBC.

It's not that the survey participants in the southern states could "be a step behind," but rather that they know the MSM news options you prefer, and trust them less than you do.

The common tendency for "Liberals" is to regard non-"Liberals" as thoughtless yokels, or "reactionaries," people who do not embrace government-as-Santa-Claus because they're not as smart as you conceive yourself to be. This is rather more an indication of your own willful ignorance than any failing on their part.

Ever consider that these people know something - a great many "somethings" - that you don't?

The only reason Fox is more important to the people in the southern states for news, is because cable offers Fox news channel, an not cnn,msnbc. If you don't have dish or direct, you go cable. The southern states seem to be a step behind in a lot of those states. That's also why Fox is viewed or polled to be watched more, deep in the south. Even in Nebr. we seem to get Fox news more on cable, if that is all that you can afford. now dish an direct is in compitition in Nebr. more, we can afford it over the poorer choice of local calbe. Fox is a joke, though! I laugh at the out right lie's on Hannity and when they have Rush or Karl Rove on there. Any one who doesn't know by now that Fox is nothing but sationalism, like the jerry springer show, has had their head buried in the sand far to long. It it does make for good laughs, if you don't take anything they say seriousely or for the trueth.

The way these polls are being played with, they are no longer reliable. Fox is putting questions just right to get what would be a totally different out come if the question was not twisted. Also, they are now picking by gender an party to twist polls now aday. As you read columist writting up their peace, you can pretty much tell what party now a day they belong to. There is nothing fair an Balanced or impartial of playing politics in article's written or the media. Even David Weigel had to take that one dig at the republican party with the "Monkey" an dark-skinned Indian thing that gave this writter away. It is sad this is all we are now offered as a way of reporting news, and information in this polerized times we live in.

As a old republican who voted Dem this year, I not pleased or ready to return to the party! YOU don't get it. That BS short form is worthless! It is a recent document, '80's vintage at best, and BO was born in '61. BO's sister Maya has one just like it, and she was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. The document generated at his birth has never been seen by the public. His legal team has spent close to a million bucks making sure it stays hidden. His reported birthplace varies unpredictably between Queens Medical and Kapi'olani Medical, with such effect of confusion even snopes and factcheck got caught with their tail between their legs trying to keep up with the ever-shifting "truth." That's such a low standard of vetting that a citizen of any country, who was sufficiently isolated as a youth, would be able to scrub their record and go for president. Just say you're a "naturally born citizen" with real sincerity, and if enough people believe you, it becomes the truth, evidence notwithstanding. If the Constitution really means so little to people, why bother with any of it? The social contract is in breach, and all bets are off.

The courts HAVE NOT ruled on the merits of the case.

Obama has NEVER EVER released his “birth certificate.” He only showed a (very sketchy) “Certification of Live Birth.” There's a very big difference. Go do some research.

And forget McCain, I didn't vote for him. Plus, he lost.

The authentic Birth Certificate was showen all over the internet, proven authentic in a court of law, Release for review by the Hawaii courts who ruled it authentic to their state! People get over it. The black man is your president, an you can cry a pool of water for the next 8 years, or try to change your racist view points, so you don't continue over and over agains to argue the same stupid talking point! Thousands died so you and he could be free! It's been the way of the military for centuries and you just say forget the rules, don't obey your commander, and forget it's congress who ok's their deployment------because you don't believe a guys birth certificate that has been authenticated by the experts of this country. Kim this has already been reported on other sights! the washington Post didn't break the news, or even report it first. so to call them bias is just wrong. In camp arguements had already started in the Mccain camp and had already been reported on cnn, Msnbc======only the bias Fox channel has not reported it, and they rarely report something against mccain, especially Hannity unless it just can't be passed up. These people are suppose to report the news, and that is what they are doing. If you don'lt like it, read some where alse. I don't like Fox, so I rarely watch them. Not that I don't like them, I don'lt truest them for real,fair, and balanced news! Hannity is like watching the jerry springer show any more! And Brown is simply angry all the time. Thus they keep saying they are innocent of wrong doing, because in their minds they are! It become the standard to do these things as common place. Pretty much were palin can afford a luxury home on a gov. and Todds salary, build by the same company that Stevens is now in trouble excepting work done with no payments. Looks a lot like a favor for a favor, and i think if they investigaed the Hocky Rink palin had build they will find the same favor for a favor, as well as the home that was build for her and Todd.

She did not need these cloths.. If Mechelle Obama can wear 30 to 150 dollar cloths, so can she. Mr. Obama often wears shoes with woren soles. It was Mccain/wife who thought she wasn't dressed well enough to run with their group. This is just another example of how Mccain is out of touch with the american peoplewho don't live on their financial level. I believe Todd will make sure his wife says and does everything possible to further her own career. I do believe they have grand ideas for her own career after this.

I do hope this will be a land slide accross america so there is not doubt, and nothing for Mccain to sue on. If mccain wins, Obama supporters will surely scream foul. I wouldn't blame them either! There is no way Mccain could win honestly and above board now! Already in Virginia they are throwing out the military vote that has already come in. virginia also sent out warnings to the young they will lose their college grants if they vote at the wrong loation. Virginia is a state that voter fraud runs rampede by theRepublicans. They stole the election before, and I fear they will steal it again. If they do this time, I'm afraid the american people will revolt all accross america, and we will have a crisis on our hands come Nov. 5th. I just keep praying this will indeed be a land slide so no one can object as to who the winner really is this time!

Oh ya, about that Joe the plumber! turns out he's related to keating, and he didn't pay his taxes and there is something strange when a man says he's been a plumber for 20 years when hes only 35 years old. also I doubt if he was in the military as he claims, as sense hes been a plumber for 20 years and would have to start at age 15 years, when did he manage the military, unless he was a military plumber.
