Ok...

I watched this video the other day on http://alittleleaven.com where it was promptly denounced as demonic and heretical, and I kinda thought it was too. The video I watched had be re-done with some captioning about how demonic this was, and *that* video did carry a heavy demonic feeling on it.

Then I watch the raw video here on your site and I feel God's Spirit all over this. This is filling me up with goodness and faith!

I learned an important lesson today. Those "heresy hunters" put their own spirit on the videos that they remake, write commentary, and put their spin on. My discernment was picking up bad stuff, but I didn't realize it was the junk those who remade the video put on it that was bothering me.

I'd say I would pretty much agree with you on everything you said. My only concern is that unscrupulous men might take advantage of a congregation and force them to submit to their personal agenda like in a dictatorship.

Conversely, you don't want a lot of non-submissive self appointed "chiefs" running around who won't answer to anybody except God. I've know a lot of people like that, and they are closed to correction and do more harm than good.

There has to be a healthy balance I guess.

I suppose those who would want to set up a church dictatorship which stifles creativity and vision in their congregation are going to do so anyways regardless of what the true move of God is doing.

Yes, I agree that we need a strong church government and relearn the concepts of submission to authority because we live in a stiff-necked American culture.

There are definitely some weird comments popping up on your blogs lately....

Anyways, I don't think the church needs to swing to one extreme or the other regarding house churches vs. church buildings/congregations. Both play an equally important role.

It is so important to have a church government and understand lessons in authority and to be submissive to those who are in authority over you. I believe that God is raising up Apostles and Prophets to lead the church into a new expression. On the other hand house churches or meeetings help build relationship with those whom you fellowship with, but it is equally as important to meet together corporately for worship and for casting vision to the larger body of Christ.

God works in paradoxes, and I don't think I'll ever completely understand him. So in essence, both expressions are right, if they are not made to be "the model" for everyone else to follow.

To be honest, I said some things when I first heard about Todd and his wife separating that were not in a spirit of grace, but out of a place of hurt. I would love grace to cover my hastily made accusations. I want to extend grace to Todd as well.

For the most part, I'm with Rick Joyner on this. I think a great good will come out of the Lakeland Outpouring, even more so now that Todd has needed to step down to take care of family. I think the way that we handle this will have a dramatic impact on the appearance of the church and our impact in the world.

I just pray that unity presides above all.

Hey man,

I am listening to the "Prophetic Message: Dry Bones" podcast right now, and wanted to comment on what you had to say about r180.com at the beginning of that message.

I totally share that vision that we Christians can use the internet as a portal to spread fire and prophetic words and there is unlimited potential to what we can accomplish with this tool.
