this doesn't work very well once your app reaches a certain size. then you'll end up in emitter hell where you're trying to coordinate data between components up and down the parent-child relationship. trust me, it get's out of hand very very fast.

Yeah, the way they are showing it here is wrong, you'll get an undefined variable: table error doing it this way. You need to do it like this, instead:

Workspaces only make sense if you have a good reliable internet connection. When I'll commuting on the train I can easily hit bad spots and have to sup work even when using something like Google docs. Or I can just dual boot my laptop and always have windows available.

Thank you for this. I recently sold my Galaxy S3 and bought a Nexus 4. I'm considering either the S4 or the HTC One. I've been leaning more and more to the HTC One. I'm glad to hear you think it's a good phone, too.

The Mac Pro looks amazing. That turbine/bullet look is super cool I think.

I'm looking forward to the updates to OS X to get rolled out to my machine.

The updates to iOS still isn't enough to make me want to switch from Android. I'm pretty sure my next phone is going to be an HTC One.

For every bad thing that you see there is good happening around it that you may not unless you look. When you see disaster stop and look for the helpers. Those who rush in to do good. Look for the rays of sunshine that try to pierce the darkness. They are there. Its easy to get caught up in the negative and let it pull you down.

I switched two websites to squarespace and am really happy with it. Normally I'm either self coding or using wordpress, but this is pretty powerful.

But, you have to admit, there are a lot of apps that were made for the iPhone platform and their "tablet" version is just the iPhone version you have to hit 2x on to get to work. On my iPad3 I see this a lot and it pisses me off. :(

They don't care about app store volume? When Apple was in the lead they sure cared. Now that Android is even and about to pass them now suddenly they don't care? Why is that? Apple touted the number of apps in their store at every event. Now it's an non issue. Very interesting. . . .

When you consider how many professional patent attorneys have said it was difficult to determine if and what patents were violated I don't see how you can say that so flatly. There are plenty of examples of prior art that other courts have recognized but this court did not. And some of the jurors have said they had a decision already made up from the beginning. How is that fair? Now, judging by your reply I'm going to guess you aren't interested in fair anyway so this will probably all fall on deaf ears but I feel it has to be said. Take it for what you will.
