To be honest your quote struck me as odd when I read the article. Once again thanks to the times we live in you get to readdress the quote and say what you really feel. You should maybe post a link to this on the wired piece for those that don't follow you on twitter

I agree that in percentage terms it wasn't that impressive but all the same approximately 1.2 trillion dollars was wiped off the market value. Double the amount of the bailout that failed to pass. From what I understand its the first-ever trillion-dollar one-day loss. Crazy times indeed

I think the possibilities of this type of service are enormous I'm glad to see people here get it. I was surprised by the piece Silicon Alley Insider did on the service, I'm at a loss as to why they don't get it ( link to their article http://tinyurl.com/3w832p)

We'll be knocking out an olympic trivia quiz that'll allow you to test your olympic knowledge in real time. At the moment it's only live on a couple of our overseas clients (http://sify.com/sports/olympics/olympicsQuiz.php for one) but early next week it'll go live in the US on a couple of big sites (TBA). Its a lot of fun and worth a play.

@breakingnewson mostly pick up their stuff from the wires. AFP reported this one at 12:47 PST which was about 10-15 mins before it went to twitter. I love twitter and find it a very powerful broadcaster of information but if the wires just pumped real-time to twitter some of this stuff would get there much quicker

Yes, our apt in paris was small and a bit cramped but we saw more of each other than we do at home!

The apartment buildings are nice to look at but not that great to live in unless you're really lucky and find something special. I've recently moved to the US after 7 years in Paris and I love the apartment sizes and layouts here, so much less cramped than Paris. Everything else is on my list too but I would have added shopping in the local markets, so much great tasty produce that I can't seem to find over here

Interesting post, I love the show myself and sure it's staged but I think the whole theme of the show is to recreate the way it was for Ramsay et al back in the day. Thats why people tune in.

I spent 10 years in various kitchens back in the 80's and when I was a commie chef in the UK and France I had a lot worse than chef Ramsay, he's a pussy cat in comparison
