My career focus is humanizing technology in the education space.

I have created three course management systems over the past decade using free and open source technologies ... learning a little bit more each time.

I'm currently serving as COO/Software Architect for EasyBits Software Canada and working on projects such as the user interface for Intel's Classmate PC, and I have over 15 years experience in the business of education and technology.

My previous positions include Director of Product Development for School Specialty Planning & Student Development and Technology Solutions Manager for Premier Agendas.

I'm currently in the last year of the Master of Educational Technology program at the University of British Columbia, and I blog on technology, social media, and education at sparkplug9.com.
