Thanks for taking the time to comment, although your link leads to a blog about how to make money online, so seems a bit biased.

Cheers,
John Carson
Greenscroll

Re: Greenscroll Aims to Offset Your Website’s Carbon Footprint

Thanks, guys -- here for questions, criticism, feedback etc...

John Carson
Greenscroll

Re: Southwest Tweets, Blogs Apology to Kevin Smith

Curious if Southwest replies 8 times to other customer complaints too?

John
@johncarson

Re: HOW TO: Support Social Good on Your Blog

Great list Barb. Please take the time to also check out www.greenscroll.org -- launched a few weeks ago in Toronto, we are a non-profit that helps people to Green their Websites (like C02stats, but I believe they are for-profit?). Would be great to see a certificate on Mashable's site.

Feel free to ask us questions, send feedback ... we encourage user input from the green/tech community.

Many thanks,
John Carson
Co-Founder and Communications Scroller
www.greenscroll.org
@greenscroll

Re: Why You Need To Shut Up And Start Listening

Hey Nick,

I meant that all the social media advice out there is to listen etc. I say go in and start talking with people! If everyone sits on the sidelines listening and monitoring, who is actually doing the talking?

Have you ever been at a social gathering, circled the room, listening to people's great conversations and then not joined in? It's becoming a bit of a cliche, I think, to advise people just to listen. And by saying that I don't mean jump in immediately with the hard sell, I mean get your feet wet, get in there and chat.

Hope that clarifies my original response!

John.

Re: Contextual Advertising gone awry

At least you didn't get a tasty-sounding Vineyard Spam Salad like I did, Mike!

http://blogs.gcigroup.com/f...

Cheers,
John Carson.

Re: "Hello George" - mediabistro.com: AgencySpy

There's a film coming soon too: "Toyotas: Robots In De Skies"

(Yeah, I know.
