He’s not a lame duck, and yes, we all know he is termed out. His base, much like President Trump, is a critical for any aspiring successor and this gives him tremendous influence over the current political environment. Floridians need him to complete the path for property tax reform in the state. The GOP leadership in the state legislature is feckless and wishy-washy. No one trusts them to follow through on the DeSantis agenda without DeSantis in the governor’s chair.

And the Blackwing is not as quick. Horsepower it’s not hard to make. Ferrari is turning out 800 hp in a naturally aspirated V12. No forced air. On pump gas. Remarkable.

The mild hybrid is not a plug-in, the battery will never run down because it’s charging on the ISG. I’m not even sure why any credible writer would include that statement, knowing that it’s not a PHEV.

No disrespect to the Blackwing, Cadillac delivered. I particularly like the six speed, but I chose an RS6 because I actually want to use all that power. My 992 Turbo S is a full second quicker 0-60 with more top end than the Blackwing, despite having 2 fewer cylinders.

When your education system does not indoctrinate young people with the hatred of prior centuries, new generations develop their own relationship with history. The generational healing happens not through apologies and self-flagellation, but though the interactions of people in the present. Anyone who lives by the wrongs of prior generations is stupidly allowing themselves to be used as tools by people with their own agenda that does not include moving forward. Slavery and the Middle East come to mind.
