Lovely post :) On the street, I am like you... I tend to walk the same way, mostly because I travel by myself a lot. It feels like if I look like i belong and like I have a purpose and know where I am going (as opposed to let's say a tourist with a huge map) then I will be safe and left alone. In other aspects, I will have to think about it :)

But do you guys remember the crank "photocopiers" that used ink? and the ink was always kind of purple? I still have a box pf perforated paper that Kid Lotus uses for crafts. I DO NOT miss the super noisy dot matrix printers we used with it :)

Another finding of this story to note: "beauty has a significant positive effect on judgment of competence". I think there was another story a while back that said tall people are perceived as more competent too. So I guess, make-up & heels it is... #sigh... We need to watch Miss Representation again!
