Zero full size truck buyers in the world will buy a giant Highlander/RAV4. Nothing about this looks better than the current gen Tundra. This would disappoint Tacoma owners, much less full size buyers. As someone else said, it's a "slightly" better Ridgeline, which no one wants or buys.

Stick to writing about (and rendering) autos. This is awful and would sell zero units.

I hope they have a series of these coming, including lows. I broke out a pair of canvas carolina blue lows for Easter. They were mid '00s vintage and couldn't help but think how much better the OG canvas versions were. If they show up and hit the clearance rack, it's all good.

Glad to hear the UA's are getting there on the performance front. I'm almost ready to give them a shot due to the Curry 1 low's looking pretty decent and considering they are a ton cheaper than the extortion prices Nike has been putting on signature models. Also considered giving the Adidas Boost lows a shot but they're too ugly and I still have a bad taste in my mouth from trying the Gil Zero lows about 10 years ago.

But neither have the design chops or technology....Nike makes plenty of awful shoes, but mixes in the best of the best with that. UA has never delivered a premier basketball shoe, and Adidas hasn't since the 80's....if it was just money, either of them would happily spend it, it just ain't that easy.

Best to not talk about things you know nothing about. The combination of movements in a typical CrossFit workout put unique stresses on a shoe. Inov8 running shoes were very popular with the CrossFit community and everyone complained about lack of durability due to rope climbs and lateral movements, among others.
Reebok worked with elite Crossfit athletes for over a year before releasing the first nano and has improved each generation with extensive feedback from the community. Nike has done he same thing with this shoe.

Before you comment on things you know nothing about, grab your favorite runners or cross trainers, head to a Crossfit gym for a month and see how well your shoes held up, how good your feet feel and count the number of ways you would change your shoes to match the "very few movements" requiring a specialized shoe.

In short, it's the combination of movements that necessitate a dedicated shoe, not the movements themselves. Nike is going to sell a shit ton of these.

100% agree regarding CrossFit HQ. Those retards will have their attorneys send you a cease and desist letter if your farts smell like CrossFit.

BUT, Nike isn't suing CrossFit, they're suing Matt Brewster, a little gym owner who MIGHT make $10k a month if his box is crushing it. Seems a little absurd to go after him like this.

Untrue. Lot's of guys can be compared to Mike (Magic, Barkley, LBJ) but Kobe ain't one of them. Go back and look at the other 4 dudes career stat lines and look at Kobe's and you'll see Kobe's light everywhere but shots and points.

Grant, Stokes, Dinwiddie, Napier all would have been nice picks at 28. Instead we got nothing. A total waste as this guy has NO legitimate shot of being a rotation player for a playoff caliber team. Bullock is a stud compared to Wilcox.

Most 28 picks don't pan out but with some there is at least a little mystery. No mystery here, advanced stats and experts agree, this guys not an NBA rotation player. 3-5 guys still on the board here that "might" have filled a need. This was a complete waste. Would have rather sold the pick or traded out of the round.

Here's the simple math:
Buy a $140-160,000 house, all cash, in a bubble market like Phoenix.
Rent yield is about $1150 per month.
Count on 35% expenses give or take.
$1150 x 65% x 12 months = $8970.
$8970/$160,000 = 5.6% rent yield.

Now add in 20-30% appreciation over the last 3 years, more for savvy investors who bought in smaller volumes at lower prices.

And don't forget to factor in the tax benefits a landlord enjoys. Now you're looking at double digit yields.

Continue renting and continue imagining the glorious buying opportunity to come when those homes are only "worth" $100,000 and you and Paul will finally be the smartest home owners in the world.

Forget the NAR, a trade group notorious for not only bad forecasts but actual data manipulation. Look to Wall St. and the guys managing billions. They were buying homes hand over fist with scenarios just like this.

The great buying opportunity is past now that the market has rebounded but you are either ignorant or naive if you don't understand that the real estate market is fundamentally very solid today and right in the ball park of long term price trends.
