In the OOW group, the default sort
order is "Recently Active." That surfaces an entry if anything was done to
it (i.e., edited, voted on, or commented on). But, you're right, we need to
align all of these views to be more consistent.

Rich

Re: Pour Some Gas on the Fire (Eagle)

I have 3

Re: We Heart Hackers

Scorn PL/SQL? I don't scorn PL/SQL... Jake put words in my mouth. I've never even touched PL/SQL. Anyway, I do dislike the thought of a proprietary language. For the same reason, I never really liked PeopleCode. I want to learn things that I can take to any job. I suppose PL/SQL is pretty pervasive. Also, I prefer OO languages that help me get things done very rapidly.

Re: Taking the Plunge: Part 2

Ubuntu is your friend.

Re: Taking the Plunge: Part 3

Just to clarify... re: multi-monitor support... my set up had one external monitor. First of all, the vpnc that Ubuntu has in its repo wasn't compiled with SSL support. So, I had to compile from source... and even after that, I couldn't get it to work with Oracle's certs/encryption. I'd love to see if anyone at Oracle has actually gotten it to work.

Re: OS X, Ubuntu and Other Fun Stuff

I'd love to see if you can get this to work.
