Its like telling everyone your pin number, giving out your bank card then complaining when you account gets cleaned out.

If you want to get round the 15 minute issue then just download the game and log out of the AppStore, its 1 button and takes seconds to do. Simple.

I see what he means but I can only presume it happened when I synced my iPhone address book with Facebook. Quite useful to know I have another backup of my numbers online.

Nice, actually played with one in real life the other day. Thy guy who it belongs to it loves it. I agree its a little big for a pure phone device though. Nice as a connected tablet.

Still not had a single issue with mine, I have at least 10+ friends who all say the same. Starting to get a little annoyed with all the over hyped media reports. Haters are so quick to jump on the Apple bashing bandwagon without even doing the slightest bit of actual scientific research. Personally I think the signal issue could be more down to generally weaker US cell signal.

One question I have to ask is would this be such of an issue if the little black line was hidden inside the iPhone case? My guess is no way. Most phones I have ever used vary signal strength as to how you hold them. Who hasn't shuffled a phone round their head or moved about to improved signal!

Don't get my wrong I'm not a total fan boy and should the iPhone 4 have underperformed I would be jumping up and down after a fix.

Ok, I just had another though on this. If Nokia were to lose the case (which knowing Apple I believe they could*) surely that would open the doors to other manufacturers not having to licence from them. I'm not a legal expert so I could be wrong but it would set a precedent.

It seems from reading articles all over the web that Nokia are certainly being hammered over this. PR disaster.

* I cant believe that if Apple didn't think they had a good case they wouldn't have paid up from the outset. I also predict their may be some counter cases being raised over UI & Multi-touch patents.

I had similar thoughts myself when I read about it. Timing it the day after Apple announces record profits makes the whole think look even more like sour grapes.

We are the people our friends and family look to when it comes to choosing a new mobile. We are the people who chat on social networking sites about this stuff. We are the people who want to develop mobile sites and apps. Its not a good idea to piss us off.

We manage fine with a 2 person dev team using WUFL and our own historic data. If nothing can be done we degrade gracefully to a basic version.

Should be no excuse for this at all really. It almost seems to me like they are actually intentionally breaking the site for non Voda range phones. If it works on a N97 then by just doing nothing at all it should by rights work on a N86.

This is a very dangerous subject to get me onto. Many hours have been spent in our office reminiscing on handsets of old.

My favourite old handset has to be the Nokia 7650 followed closely by the Nokia 7110.

One was the first ever to have an integrated camera, the other the first wap browser.

There have been many other good handsets though and I keep meaning to do a list/blog post of them all.

Christ, as a company trying to launch our mobile platforms in the US, I would say in terms of mobile billing & infrastructure etc they are where we were 4 years ago.

I love the iPhone but its not a guaranteed way to monetise the mobile web. End of!
