Bryan you raise some good points, the ONLY thing I could come up with is JK probaly would have more of a fight to start at IU than at Memphis....he plays the 2 or 3 and with Creek, Wateford etc I think he felt he might have had more of chance to start at UM....just a small hunch...

I agree 100% with your Bawa assessment ......he seems to know how to play big and not leave his feat. Did a solid defensive job while in there....Didn't rebound as much but I think that will come.

I am a little torn on Elston starting cause I like him coming in bringing that fire power off the bench but you won't be able to keep him on the bench if he keeps playing like this....love his quick release on this shot....

Smitty I somewhat agree....I don't like the white lycra/spandex shirts under the jerseys with kids who have arms like my grandmother.....EJ went the the T SHIRT under the jersey which I have done personally but at least have A muscle on your arm....geez kids come on....

J....I actually agree with you to a certain extent....I blame Crean on this one and having a quick trigger, we dont know the whole story, we don't know if D. Will was a link to another player....however...I give the IU faithful/ITH faithful credit, we kinda knew this was coming, so it is no surprise.

Now about that scholly......? I wish the kid well, I hope he finds a school that is a good fit for him and has a great senior year.

On a side note for anyone to answer?
With Jelan Kedrick waiting til spring....With Teague waiting til Spring....With Selby waiting til spring....Do you want IU to wait also?

Personally I want IU to sign Sheehey and one of these other guys. I don't want Sheehey to wait, really like the kid...

I honestly think Purdue is a school that will NEVER win a national championship because they cannot draw the star power to do so....not since the Big Dog has Purdue been a legit contender to win it all....yes they will be good this year, I honestly believe IU can and will be them in Bloomington, but PU will always be PU....sorry Mr. AD dude...enjoy those conference championship parades...

Ben...now the whitehouse thing is true and all three of them were there so there is some validity there...great point......where we disagree....IU ABSOLUTELY needs to get some new uniforms, new style or something...leave the candy stripes alone, leave the names off the back of ther jerseys...but I am pro new uniform

Ben....I have heard similar rumors about JK from 'another cousin' on peegs who said he wants to come to IU but wants to visit first and to seal the deal. JK apparently has a lot of cousins, maybe his real cousin AJ Moye can help........

The last I heard about Marquis Teague was he was trying to see how the L'Ville thing plays out, who is going to Kentucky, and IU was still on the list......

Also heard he has bulked up some more and should have a HUGE season.

IU is absolutely at the point we can snub players........ask Nick Williams, Malik Story and many others who have transferred because the 'talent' writing is on the wall. IU does not recruit everyone and Crean snubs hundreds of players yearly who are not an IU caliber player, EVERY coach does it..........

What you don't think David WIlliams is good enough for the NBA. That is pretty classless to say something like that against an Hoosier. We should support him 100% and give him a chance to prove himself.

coachv...I respectfully disagree with the notion that the poll, ITH, or some of the IU fanbase does not want David Williams to come to IU and succeed. Many of us have said, we fully expect D. Williams to play at IU however there are a lot of questions surround his committment such as:

1. I don't think he has ever taken an official visit
2. He did not attend midnight madness with the other 2010 committment
3. IU continues to recruit his position...Jalen Kendrick, Sheehey, and up to a point Moses Morgan
4. Is he prepared to contribute to IU next season or does he need a season at a prep school or JUCO.

This is NOT slamming D.Williams, the coaches absolutely know more than we do. But based on these questions, it does leave many to wonder will D.Williams play at IU next season. Coachv if you were honest with yourself, as I am there have been IU players (charlie miller, Andrae Patterson, Pat Knight) that I questioned why they were here and on the floor........it does not make me wrong but a 'fan' just as you are..........I love IU as much as you do, I want IU to do well in all aspects of basketball, but it does not immune IU nor my favorite coach Crean from being questioned......

If David Williams walks out on that court next season, I will cheer as if it is Eric Gordon, until then there are a lot of questions.........

I see a Luke Recker comparison and would not be surprised if he doesn' t exceed his 6'4 frame, he looks long....if he gets to 6'7,. maybe we could consider him a big? He is very athletic and very active....

I agree 100%, I don't want IU to be in another KI situtation where we are holding schollies and our breath for a kid who hasn't decided. Will that happen, sometimes yes, but at some point and I will keep saying it...either you are on the train or the train is leaving......

stevealford....I can't begin to even discuss how your arguments don't hold any merit...IU deserves a top notch coach??? Like steve alford ofcourse......or wait I agree maybe Roy Williams would have come to IU and dealt with sanctions, less scholarships, and recruiting restrictions...oh and a starting PG who is 5'9 and a walk on.....For these reasons, I know why are are here, your team (Purdue, KY, or Illinois) does not have a fanbase that is as passionate as IU and you have nothing better to do.....

It seems like it is a full court press with Carlino and Etherington to get Zeller to IU. I think it could very well happen. I think Carlino is one of the kids in this upcoming classes with 2011 and 2012 I really look forward too and I am glad I will get to him play this year.....Carlino v Teague in January should be nice......

Milla I agree, I am a Dumes fan. Did have some problems last year but I think the kid has a lot of game in him and I am glad we have him and Mo Creek, but Dumes will start as a Senior....

2. Who should be IU's top recruiting priority at this point, Selby, J.Davis, Zeller, Plumlee
3. What player will have the biggest impact on the team this year? lots of options, surely lots of opinions and story lines........

Hardwood.....you should know KY plays by their own rules. Cal plans to recruit 12 new guys each year and oversign by 10 guys........until he gets caught!
