the sad truth of it all is you have to make a choice. if you like ff embeds then it is slow to have both disqus and the embeds. I have a javascript on each blogpost that allows people to find the correlating friendfeed post for each blog post... even if I don't have the ff embed.

obviously I am using disqus and intensedebate still... I am using it now on your blog... but on my own system I would prefer people to really use friendfeed

also note the typekey aka typepad has really improved. they are now a competing commenting system

you need four followers (I believe, but things change).

the best part of NB is that it protects from trolls because you can only follow so many blogs and therefor if there is a blog that you find irksome you will not follow it. this means the only comments you get are from either facebook fanpage fans or friends or viral spins from there. you can broadcast it on twitter also, but the exclusive NB feed is only seen by people who really "like"
your blog and follow you regularly.
you can also import digg and delicious into netblogs with feedburner for your rss. this usefull option allows me to have networkedblog comments on friendfeed posts because I bookmark stuff in ff with delicious or diigo.

I'm a bit concerned about echo issues. people should still be able to push twitter to facebook and facebook to twitter and not have to chose between the tho. I'd also like to see some kind of echo filter with twitter to friendfeed to facebook posts. whole thing needs to be elegant. it will help all the networks. nobody benefits by being the bottom feeder.

not an opinion Mr Sass. Zazzle did some bad things and they are attempting to cover it up. it is formulaic. as a person involved in marketing you know it is way too transparent and obvious that they are attempting to do a bait and switch on morality. they would be better off to clear their positions on why they won't allow a stamp of an Israeli hostage to be made. this is a diversion from their position where the company put themselves in contention of what is just.

no one is fooled. it isn't the first time I've seen this kind of thing go on with twitter. I'm having eMail Our Military and Frozen Pea flashbacks

it isn't just the cause howeverr... it also the people in the calendar who I know from twitter and they clearly represent the same values as this company Zazzle. it shouldn't be shocking... being that I'm banned from twitter which these people are Alisters on... it all pretty much adds up to how much hate and bigotry is on online social networks. do you really want to rub shoulders with such monsters as @Baratunde? are you proud that you are endorsing terrorist sympathizers? I know it becomes hard to tell the difference between terrorist sympathizers and the government these days (especially Since 1993, Palestinians have received more than $2.2 billion in U.S. economic assistance via USAID projects - more than from any other donor country and now we are giving directly through Hamas), but Sass why not promote causes where you don't have to be involved with such hypocrisy.

I'm not shocked... I'm just asking for better.

they didn't fix the problem. I think I am now considered the Jewish Internet Defense forces brother or something. they treat me like a... um... Jewish person or something. I was in a heated debate about the USS Liberty as well as White Phosphorus in Gaza on another profile. I was attempting to back up all my points with quotes and referenced the quotes to their blog. this is considered to me to be professional, but I think in the future I will just make one link and put multiple embeds on the same blog. the more links you put the more facebook thinks you are spam. it might be professional to give credit to your resources, but to facebook they obviously don't like you linking off facebook.

To approach your argument correctly, I need to first find out whether or not your fundamental christian beliefs in a man-delivered book of the "word of God" are remotely reasonable. I also need to take into account that beliefs and faith are two very personally held structures by any one or group of persons, and therefore:

I need to keep my opinions of your religiously rooted insights to myself, as I can't tell you what to believe. On another note, I can tell you that your own ego (humanity believing they can define God) and vanity in those beliefs (denouncing anyone that claims man-made your beliefs) creates the paradox to end all arguments regarding rapture, apocalypse, etc. If you are correct, you will also find out soon enough what exactly it means to be as religious as you are. Faith, is the key to happiness, not faith in religion. Take that with you and you'll live better.

the direct graph does certainly showcase a graph correlation between abstinence and teen pregnancy. I question however other mitigating factors like level of media infiltration and other economic factors such as (believe it or not) inflation that caused society ills in the middle to late 20th century.

one thing is clear is that abstinence works. what is doesn't clarify is if condoms don't provide a safety net for those that fail.

teaching abstinence is fine. it isn't a matter of 'only'. the left has co-opted the language. Abstinence works. this doesn't mean you can't talk about condoms.

nothing related to sex should be discussed in public anyway. not a law... just saying it doesn't do any good to broadcast publicly in school about any of these issues. whatever your opinions are... it must be done one on one. sex education is wrong. sex counseling is right.
