I purchased this frame because of its Google Photos integration; it was a gift for my family and I was looking forward to just adding photos to a shared album, so that my family could see photos as soon as I added them.

Turns out that Nixplay cannot support shared albums due to Google API limitations:

Wirecutter team: this is a dealbreaker for a lot of people. The other methods to get photos to seamlessly show up on someone else's frame seem, at best, clunky and unintuitive. This really should be mentioned in the review. I wouldn't have purchased this at all if I had known it was this difficult. Grandparents and less tech-savvy folks aren't going to be willing to go through all these steps to get new photos to show up on their frame. I'll be returning this tomorrow.

Thanks for the suggestion. I prefer the armband because I like to look at my running stats from time to time while I'm running, to skip songs, etc. Seems like a running belt may not be optimal for this purpose. I appreciate it, though!

I take my iPhone out of its case every other day to use an armband for running. Doing so has really worn down the Speck case on my current iPhone 6. Their old "Flip" cases made it easy to remove the phone with minimal impact to the case, but these aren't made anymore.

Anybody know of a good shock-absorbing case that won't wear down with repeated removal?
