I could not agree more. i think some one needs to write a post called "die network die". not only are there to many network. but the word network alone needs to evolve with innovation. network seems so one dimensional in comparison to where the world of media advertising and technology is heading. We are moving into the world of open modular platforms that are agnostic , 3 dimensional and highly scalable.

Our new systems that we have been building for the last 2 years are all integrated into a performance marketing platform. the network will be a layer on the platform. we are going to move away from our Advaliant affiliate marketing division being called a affiliate network.

Re: Speaker Proposals for Affiliate Summit Social Media 2008

It would be great to have some social sharing tools on the aff summit blog such as addthis.com or sharethis.com so we can send the content out into our networks easily.

Re: Speaker Proposals for Affiliate Summit Social Media 2008

I like using addthis.com its a great little tool that lets everyone get your content out very easily. look forward to using this on you blog Shawn. It is very important that we get the right information out thru the community about the who, what, where and when of the PMA. The PMA is a place for everyone to have input, collaborate so that we can consolidate and grow our segment of the online marketing industry.
I hope everyone will come participate and ask questions regarding what is happening and how they can help to form the PMA. This is open to everyone. They are doing a lot of things that other are not doing, and have created some very interesting technology that focuses on optimizing cpc traffic that generates very high TQ score clicks. yes there are aspects that many others are doing. As there is with many things that we are doing on the performance marketing platform. But what this mainly does is ads a very broad and deep cpc/search layer to our entire platform for ur publisher and advertiser partners to use to generate traffic, leads and transactions..

we think the world is heading to being platform centric with single platforms with many capabilities vs very fragmented solutions. We will be building new and innovative tools and solutions on top of the combined business..... much more to come. we are just getting started

Re: The Fast Company Influence Project is a Gimmick

it was interesting for a few hrs and then became annoying. the site loaded slowly. i did not see the value of how it was going to visualise true influence.

btw how are they going to get everyone's.picture in the magazine. its either the entire issue filled w/ images or they are so tiny you will need to have a loop to see anything..

epic fail ... but like to concept. i would like to see this done properly

Re: The Old Spice Guy Now Making Custom Videos for Fans via Social Media

just plain brilliant. this is one of the best social media marketing case studies ever!
