My partner and I are looking to add hosting services to our SEO offerings, and currently extend WPEngine and Page.ly to our clients. Any idea when you might have those tests ready for our consumption, Mike? Thanks so much for going through the hard work of pulling these sorts of tests together for the rest of us. Much appreciated and very grateful!

Re: The Art of Ironing

Ordinarily I would not have clicked on that video to watch, however your enthusiasm and sincerity convulsed the pointer finger on my right hand to depress the left mouse button. Some folks feel that downsizing is only about getting rid of stuff and leading ascetic lifestyles. Not so! My belief is that being a minimalist is about having just the things which bring true happiness and joy in life. If that means hundreds of tchochkies, so be it. Or a kimono hanging on the wall because of the beauty and emotions it conveys. We don't have to minimize our emotions when we downsize our lives!

Re: First Ratatouille of the Season

So the meal was really yummy. Last season I started experimenting with adding small amounts of heat to my ratatouille. Either using a couple of serrano peppers finely diced and cooked in with the bell peppers or a combination of crushed red and chili powder. And the results were really coming along nicely. With today's dish, I only had access to some really strong garlic along with crushed red pepper. Definitely pushed it right to the edge of as far as you'd probably want to take this dish in the direction of heat. Just enough to know it was there, as well as staying with you for a few moments. But not too long!

And the steak was cooked nicely, of course. My rice cooking is getting better as well. In fact, I'm pretty much at the same point with a pot on the stove as I am using a rice cooker. Now I just need to adjust the volume of water vs. rice. Getting there.

Re: Happy Birthday America!

So the tags came in and I've already given out several of them to family, friend, and even a couple to our breakfast waitress the other morning. She asked about them and told us her fiancée was a veteran. Seemed like a great reason to share a couple of the ReMind.org dog tags with her.

Re: Zombie Kitchen!

LOL Thanks, Loretta. Maybe even the pool house is a smart choice. First, very nice article. It reminds me of your "lucky" video a few days ago and how good your writing is. Man you're lucky ;) to have worked as hard as you have on your writing and knowledge acquisition, of course.

Mostly, however, thank you for posting here about your post there. I would never have found it otherwise. Sure I knew the power and functionality of Twitter search, but not the various tools mentioned in the comments.

I just never know when I'm going to get lucky by reading your blog. Wow, if not, that's gotta be some sort of record ;)

Cool stuff Brad. I never had the chance to know my real father (mother divorced while I was still infant) and for most of my young adult life, was rather pissed off at my step father. But then, around the age of 30 +/- I got over it and started learning some stuff from him. Now that I'm getting older, I realize so much more about why he might have been the way he was; how life affected him, me, everyone?

Re: Got Wave Invites? Just looking out for the little guy! If I were a bit more creative I'd probably do more along the lines of video creation. It is actually one of my goals for the upcoming year. Either way, being able to share revenues just seems to makes sense, even when the content is enhancing your own online properties (as with embeds). Will be interesting to see how the model works itself out in the upcoming year.

Appreciate your comment!

Re: An 11th Online Video Prediction Added to Unleash Video’s 10

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on the post, Adria. Even though most who knew me would have called me a web master, I always shied away from it. Less from ego, and more from perspective of just knowing that I could never know enough to have mastered that space.

Same goes now with Social Media Expert. I'm trying to get myself an interview with Vidli.com to be their SME and if it happens that I'm fortunate enough to get the gig, I'll ask that we change the name to something with a bit more meaning.
