Guns, Oh, how I wish that were true.

But there are, and will continue to be, apologists for the likes of Chris Brown, R. Kelly and others who devalue women. And, unfortunately, some (dare I say, most) of those apologists will be women.

That Chris Brown still hasn't really apologized for his treatment of Rihanna is testament to how much of a punk he really is. And R. Kelly? Don't even get me started... People will still step in the name of love, run it (run it!) and believe they can fly.

These are men for whom women have no value. Until other men, REAL MEN, stand up and stop punks like this from punching, choking, biting and urinating on women, Chris Brown, R. Kelly and males like them will continue to degrade women.

Poor baby.... Reminds me of when my policeman Daddy stopped by to pick me up from school -- on report card day -- IN HIS POLICE CAR!!!!

He thought it would be cool. As it was, I had straight A's that report period. All I remember to this day was the other kids going ""OOOoooooh, she musta a had a bad report card. The cops came and got her..."

I was embarrassed beyond belief. I wanted the ground to swallow me up. Still loved me some Daddy though!!!

The reason I don't watch scary movies to.this.day. I am such a punk when it comes to scary stuff. I'd much rather get 'bubble gum for the brain' movies.

I'd be having nightmares for days... I tried again with the first "Halloween" movie with Jamie Lee Curtin in it. Nope... still a punk.

Took Superman (my son...) over to a neighborhood Halloween party. I do old school. The whole point is to be creative and spend as little money as possible on the Halloween costume. We found the Superman S logo on line. Printed it out, copied it onto an old yellow tshirt, colored it in with a red magic marker, cut it out of the tshirt and used 'medical' tape to tape it to a long sleeve blue t-shirt.

I bought an oversized red t-shirt in the dollar store, turned the sleeves outside in & sewed them closed, cut it up the middle in front but kept the collar intact. VOILA, red cape. Done, $3.00. He was happy and I wasn't broke.

I am amazed every year at the money spent on kid's halloween costumes. Oh well, I guess I'm just old school.

Instead of just apologizing, she made it worse by trying to blame it on whoever wrote the script. In doing that, she makes is obvious that she can't think on her feet since she "knows who you are, Rev. Jackson, we all do..."

If you knew who he was, why didn't you just say his name? No one would have ever known that the script said Rev. Al Sharpton.
