I really interesting blog post. I am currently with MailChimp and find it somewhat confusing at times, but for me, only having 12 subs on my list, the free account is good for me. Although I really like what ConvertKit is providing, with the cost of $29 per month up to 1,000 subs, I don't consider it is an option for a small content creator like myself.

Great post and really enjoyed reading it. Keep up the great work!

I got an ipad for Christmas and I use it non stop now. Calendar etc is great but also my task manager with omnifocus and ever note for meetings. Nice to have everything at my finger tips.

Its quite an achievement to get to 80th. I like that feeling, but you just have to go for it, and play a bit, better now with the dungeons and the LFG tool, I like that.
Leave the professions, and get 80th, what do you play?

Found this post very interesting. Both your response Alex, and the original poster.
Times are changing, and when I was young, there was this push to get a 'proper' job or go to university. But this I venture to say is a very 'old fashioned' response to a career, especially in this ever changing world. There exists no 'proper job' in this day and age, the only job you should be doing is the one you love doing. If you enjoy it and keeps you provided with what you need (notice the difference between what you need and what you want) then the career is right for you.
As for talent...this is surely a subjective quantity. What I might recognise as talent others don't. I never thought Jedward could sing or dance, but some people admire them and praise them for what they do. They think they have a talent and who am I to object or to disagree with this. There exists in this world, many people with hidden talents, and I am pleased that the internet as a whole has been a platform for these people to demonstrate their talents.
Many of us, me included, do not publish things on the internet to gain fame, fortune or both, we do it because we enjoy it.
Perhaps the talent we possess is the most important talent that exists. Self belief.
Keep doing what you are doing, and that's not just Alex, thats anyone and everyone. If you enjoy it, do it because that should be your only driving force.

Hey, subscribed to your vid on youtube and then found my way here.
I bit behind you in the sense that i started BSL level 1 last september but then it got cancelled after five weeks. so been wiaint for them to find another tutor to start it again. Good news is that the course starts again in September, so BSL level one here i come!
